La Villa Restaurant/Pizzeria ( local favorites » restaurants ) "Good Pizza in Park Slope" I went here last night and had a really good time. The pizzas were very tasty. I highly recommend the Focaccia di Nonna. A very basic pizza, but so tasty. The Eggplant Involotini(?) appetizer is also delicious. We ended up with an extra pie due to... read more

BeeHive Salon ( services » hair / beauty ) "Beehive Salon" This place is funky and not too badly priced. I had Julie cut my hair, and she did an excellent job. I'm due for a trim, and I'm definitely going back. I don't even live in the area and I love it.

Jigsaw ( local favorites » shops ) "Homey shop and gallery" This is a fairly new establishment. The owner, Ben Jones, sells mini and small press comics, CDs, original art, zines, etc. It's also a great little gallery with regular events and art shows on the walls.
