Ananda Devika is a women like no other. When I first meet this women I had no idea what breath taking things were inside of her. Her first solo was the most sensual, expressive dances I have ever witnessed. When she steps up to dance she becomes her inner self, her quiet shy self is gone and the true beauty she has inside comes out. She is a pure pleasure to watch dance. I have to say I am so happy to have this beautiful Diva as my friend!

She's so cool she should be in the freezer! Seriously, Ananda Devika dragged me along to my first belly dance class, and I'll never stop thanking her for that. She's an outgoing, caring person with a witty sense of humor. She was brave enough to do her first solo AND get married this year. Wow! She presents a very natural grace when dancing. It's a wonderful site to see!

Ananda Devika is a quiet, powerful presence with a memory for choreography like none other! This young but very accomplished dancer is delightful to watch and to know. I'm always excited to see what she will come up with next and look to her when I forget a move or need a smile. She is an asset to Diva Soma and an awesome chick!

Ananda Devika is one of the most sensual dancers in Diva Soma troupe. Her precise, yet fluid, movements are polished and poised making her a strong presence on stage.

...and it has to happen tonight, huh? I heard on the news that Omaha hasn't had a real blizzard in almost 10 years...and what happens? It falls on a night that I had fun plans! Great! :P The plan was to get all glammed up, drop by a local drum and dance circle for a while, then head out to the MAC for the annual freak-filled festivity known as the Groundhog Prom. I'm suffering from a severe cabin-fever funk today. I have promised the DH that I will not leave the house for any reason, and it is SO BORING. I've contemplated several projects to start, but none seem that worthwhile. I've even resorted to watching TV. Grrrr...this sucks! It's not like the roads are even that bad - it's just a little snow. I should have gone to the library or fabric store yesterday to prepare for this, but no. Of course not. I opted to stay warm instead. :P Stupid...

I like to start my New Year's Resolutions early. That way there's not as much pressure once the new year actually begins - I don't have to start anything, just continue. :) Last year, my resolutions included getting in better shape. This was enough of a challenge that I started 3 weeks early.
