Emma's quite the multitalented chica. Not just an amazing dancer, she's also a spectacular photographer and artist(although she won't believe you when you tell her that), a dedicated grad student, and a graceful, gracious soul. I feel very lucky to know her!

Emma is not only a fine student of mine, but an endearing young lady, with pretty eyes, and an air of quiet grace. It has been a warm pleasure to get to know her as well as the dancers of Midriff Crisis.

All short-term contract employees (for instance, me) were pretty much given their walking papers and told to look for other opportunities. Fortunately, I do have a caring boss that stated all of the information with much more tact and compassion. I’m just kinda beyond the tact and compassion bit right now. This cutback i... read more

It starts on August 12th and ends on September 16th. It will be at the DanceLoft (note new address- 620 E. 19th St #150- a warehouse- I highly recommend looking it up on mapquest) on Tuesday nights from 8:15-9:15pm. Thanks! www.members.cox.net/emma.graham ***************************** Okay. Many of you know I'm vegan. I think about how we as humans relate to animals and their flesh/meat a lot. Pretty much every time I eat in a public place or with people other than my husband, the subject comes up in one way or another. Many times in my past non-meat eating 10 years, I've gotten what I'll call "harrassed," made fun of, taunted, etc. for eating differently than the majority of people. Because of this, I often take what are meant to b... read more
