oh...good grief!!!! <BG>

I have a great many updates to make.. I can't believe that we haven't updated since last October. Needless to say, the lab has had some changes. Some of our artists have moved on, some new members have joined us and some members have left and are expected to return next month. I will surprise you all (and myself) and get us an update by the end of the weekend!

First Friday - October

There was fun to be had!

Olive enjoyed watching the folks experiment with enhanced viewing (3D glasses) in the featured room while musician Elizabeth Roth played classical guitar.

And 2 new artists experienced "First Friday" from a different perspective. <BG> Elab extends a hearty welcome to Sandy Hunt and Corrie Borglund!

Once again, no pictures, I SWEAR I'll get around to it!

...and me without my camera! The festival was great.. hot, but great. The event planners were taking pix and vid so perhaps we'll end up on their site, if so I'll put up the URL.

Sept. 1st Friday recap

For anyone who missed 1st Friday or anyone who had too much to drink to remember it...

Angela Brown is featured artist for September, and kicked off her show "Grounded in the Sky: Works to share happiness and celebrate life." New abstract works by Angela were the highlight of the night.

Friends of the Energy Lab invitational show was extended through September. Featuring new works by some and a new artist.

Pat Hitchcock joined us, keeping her classroom open and hosting a party to celebrate her first year of teaching from the Energy Lab. Pat has class schedules posted on the classroom door.

and last, but not least, Photographer Rick Mills celebrated his new studio with a party. Rick is now open for business!
