Last night's dream

I was a 2-byte integer variable, and someone tried to kill me by setting me to a 9-digit number.

I think I've been working too much.

Tsk, tsk, tsk! Couldn't you have at least worked Garrett Hedlund from the new Tron movie into this dream? You need to re-boot your dream machine and get it back on its sexy track.

Well, I didn't say that was the *only* dream I had last night. ;)

Dreams where I'm an abstract computer concept are always fascinating to me. A couple of years ago I dreamed I was a computer program's logic flow.

Now I'm stuck trying to think of mathematical innuendos...

"How'd I get integer? I barely knew 'er!"

It's kind of addictive, isn't it? I posted this somewhere else, and the same thing happened. :) (The first response was, "That's just a *bit* hard to believe..." and it went from there. :) )

I had another funny one last night, actually. I've been having problems figuring out how to get some database code to work properly, and last night I dreamed that the database server was housed at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry, and that the reason I couldn’t get it to work was that I was using the wrong spell. I woke up immediately after that dream at around 3AM with a code change in my head, and when I tried it out this morning, it worked. :) I *love* it when my brain figures stuff out without me. :)

"The first response was, "That's just a *bit* hard to believe...""

Man, people can be so negative, sometimes.
