February FRESH!

I'm really excited about this event, it's shaping up to be just the kind of night that I really enjoy being part of. Space Cowboy Ernie Trevino put together a lineup that proves that Genre's are of little importance. Join Dirt, Moody Eva, and I for a night of just damn good music!

Yeeeah! Now that was a fucking Tuesday!

I had a fantastic night... I am truly blessed to have such a dope girlfriend, and I love my friends!

To sum up the night I'll tell this tid-bit: There was a girl that was randomly walking down the street, just as I stepped out of the bar for a smoke I yelled something at my friend who was outside already. Without knowing it I had basically yelled right in this poor girls ear, catching her totally off guard. She jumped and was a bit shaken. I apologized. explained that I wasn't dangerous to anyone except myself. She ended up laughing about it, and Aaron and I invited her in to the party. Turns out she was just into town from the Boston Area, and had been lost looking for the bus station. I think she stayed for like 3 hours... when she was finally leaving she said. "Who the fuck are you? Are you like famous or rich or something? How do you get the best DJs I've ever heard playing together on a Tuesday night?" I just replied: "They're my friends. They'd be here anyway so why not play records?" The truth is that I'm really, really lucky to have the friends that I do.

Top10 DJDreamteam
Once again we asked you to name your dream lineup, and you did not disappoint. The party of the people is taking shape, and once again we're putting all of your favorites under one roof for the ultimate night of DJ nirvana. This is the ultimate celebration of the sounds you love, and the record amount of votes told us that we needed to increase our capacity and go deeper into the afterhours, so we moved to a Friday night and moved to one of SF's most storied locations. 1015 has always possessed an unmatched ability to offer up a stunning musical buffet with its many rooms, and the epic sound and visuals of the main floor are unlike any other. And believe me, we'll be taking full advantage as we take the top 10 vote getters, Bassnectar (Lorin), Taj, David Harness, Miguel Migs, Syd Gris, Mancub, Smoove, Dirtyhertz, and Seven, and add in a few very deserving guests. Aaron Jae, Atimatik, Cyber Joe, Laird, Rooz, shOOey, Mozaic, Aaron Pope, Adam Ohana, and Erik Hz have all graciously accepted invitations to make sure every inch of available space under 1015's historic roof is filled wall-to-wall with incredible beats and dancing feet. With over 500 DJs to choose from, these are the vote-getters that won your love and are the people's choice. Now's their time to shine and soak up the love and shine it back on the greatest DJ scene on earth. Date: Friday, 2/9, Time: 10pm-6am, Place: 1015 (1015 Folsom @ 6th), Cover: limited $15 presale tickets.
