I had a fantastic night... I am truly blessed to have such a dope girlfriend, and I love my friends! To sum up the night I'll tell this tid-bit: There was a girl that was randomly walking down the street, just as I stepped out of the bar for a smoke I yelled something at my friend who was outside already. Without knowing it I had basically yelled right in this poor girls ear, catching her totally off guard. She jumped and was a bit shaken. I apologized. explained that I wasn't dangerous to anyone except myself. She ended up laughing about it, and Aaron and I invited her in to the party. Turns out she was just into town from the Boston Area, and had been lost looking for the bus station. I think she stayed for like 3 hours... when she was finally leaving she said. "Who the fuck are you? Are you like famous or rich or something? How do you get the best DJs I've ever heard playing together on a Tuesday night?" I just replied: "They're my friends. They'd be here anyway so why not play records?" The truth is that I'm really, really lucky to have the friends that I do. _________________

Post Birthday Update...

Ok I just have to say this right now: I had the best birthday ever this year!!!! Thank you to everyone that was a part of it, you may not have even known it was my birthday, or may not have even know who I am, but the last week was absolutely brilliant. I've met some really great freinds in my time and I am lucky to have you guys around. I mean it.... Big Up Yerselves!!! I really have to thank Danielle first and foremost for being able to put up with my obvious need for birthday attention, and then Daisy Crave or Crazy Dave for saving the day, and Laird for allowing Dave to Let my Day be saved. And last but not least, Dean and Grigg for the fucking shocking present that I just received, I am dumbfounded! Thank You!!! P.S. Everyone ought to buy something from Addictech.com They deserve/need/want your business and as far as breaks are concerned, you will need nothing more than what they've got. I know you've got a couple bucks, probably more than that, so buy a Record, a Download, a CD, or even a T-shirt! You won't be dissapointed and your money will have been well spent!

So here's the deal. Not a lot going on nextweekend outside of Miami, so I figure why not throw a party when theres a good chance people will be looking for something fun to do, and it happens to be my birthday. If you build it they will come, as the saying goes. Confirmed DJs so far include myself, Kapt'n Kirk, and Ripple... So Far! I am looking for more help and a good location for this so... if you've got some ideas or wanna spin and I know you, drop me a line.

So as I was pondering the looming end of my 20's, I thought about how I'd like to celebrate my last birthday as a 20 something. Usually I find some clubnight, or event to attend for my birthday as it usually is just the simple thing to do. However this year, I wanted something different. I want to do something that is really... well really My Style. I also want to have anybody and everybody that's willing and able to attend this celebration. So I think its coming together like this: Party: Satur*DAY* the 25th of march. BBQ, Music w/kick-ass DJs, Free or Cheap Beer, Sun, Fun... etc. Where: SF somewhere (location suggestions welcome) Cost: Free-er than Free Why: 29 is a hell of an age.
