My Testimonials

November 2, 2006
Erissa is awesome!

So she has a fabulous little shop in Baltimore's Hampden, and a cute little boy, and a quick handed drummer of a husband, and she still finds time to coordinate events and take care of other people. She can come up wiht a cake on a moment's notice - and an event with a moment and a half.

Chicka - thanks for all of your kindness and generosity... and for keeping us all laughing our tails off.

:)

about me
I serve many roles in this life. I am a daughter, a granddaughter, a mother, a sister, a wife, a niece and a daughter in law, but above all I am a woman of my own mind and I have a great number of opinions. I like to talk about my opinions but I have learned temperance, your opinions are often valid too. (insert cheeky smile here)

Thoughts that make it into print

I don't consider this a failure. I went nearly fifteen days without a cigarette. Then I smoked one or two. Then I flipped out and bought a pack and smoked it in ten days. That avarages two cigarettes a day. I was smoking twenty in a day. I plan to quit again as of today. As of today I am a non-smoker again. I have to kick this. It isn't as easy as I thought it was going to be. It is day twnety five from the day I originally quit smoking, but now I am calling this day one. I will ke... read more

DOn't worry, I am still a nonsmoker - or at least mostly.... I smoked one more cigarette so that is two cigarettes in like fifteen days and both of those was like two draghs and then snubbed out. And I won't make excuses, I have to not smoke - I just really wanted those two drags (and I think two cigarettes in two weeks is a huge improvment over a pack to a pack and half a day since I was seventeen.)

BUt I got a call from the police on Sunday. There was a report of a bag of jewelry hidd... read more

Today I didn't smoke. I was very bored and didn't smoke. It wasn't till I got home that I just couldn't help it any more and I lit up and took two puffs and stubbed out the cigarette. I shouldn't have but I did and now I have to just stop thinking about it.

The shop is basically back in shape. At least it looks as though it never got burglarized. A customer came in today to buy something that she had wanted for a long time only to find out that it was one of the pieces stolen in the... read more

Today I was all agreivated. I mean I was really peeved. I had a head full of indignant ire and I decided to be proactive. I went to the local hardware store and I purchased a padlock and while I was there I spoke to the owner. Debbie, the owner, told me how so many of the merchatns in my area had been burglarized in the last six months. How she had been selling allot of locks lately. It would seem that our little neighborhood is suffering a crime spree. All the shops and eateries that ... read more

I went into work today only to find out that my shop had been burglarized the night before. My antique shop had been broken into. I was all happy because it was Valentine's Day and I was looking forward to making some sales to desperate men who needed sudden jewelry for their girlfriends only to walk into my store and find that someone had busted in the back door and helped themselves to all my jewelry and the cash in my register and a couple of fur coats. The broke the lock on the back do... read more
