The movement of communities in Brazil has history, the ABRASCA (Brazilian Association of Aquarians Communities) already exists since 1978 and carries through events since then where the communities associates if find to change information, products, seeds and to review the old friends in a great party always carried through in the first full moon of July in a place chosen in the previous event.

The Purpose of the ABRASCA is to catalogue the communities, to edit bulletins, to send organic seeds, to promote events and to divulge the movement of communities in Brazil. In 2001 regional ones were 26 distributed for all the parents and diverse national and international correspondents. Regional current that this secretariando the ABRASCA is the community INSIDE situated WEEDS in the neighborhoods of the city of São Lourenço - MG

The ENCA (National Meeting of the Aquarians Community), is the national event of the ABRASCA this event is the door voice of the movement of communities, is destined the people who have the proposal of living in an agricultural community in Brazil. The purpose since movement appeared of the necessity to join groups and people to change to experiences, practical and communitarian and agricultural experiences, ecological technologies, espiritualidade,terapias... information for one better quality of life.

In the ENCAs the communities if present and speak of its experiences in the diverse aspects of the life, this event always is carried through in communities that need force of work in its initial phase of estruturação, arrives in some years to congregate a thousand people more than, nothing is not charged to participate and if it carries through through donations and voluntárario work. The ABRASCA if congregates in the to be informed ENCAs of that it can be helping to the movement and the communities during the year through the regional ones. The groups if communicate through regional informative bulletins and meeting, currently a bigger group of people is adopting the InterNet to be communicated.

A Finalidade da ABRASCA é de catalogar as comunidades,editar boletins,enviar sementes orgânicas,promover eventos e divulgar o movimento de comunidades no Brasil. Em 2001 eram 26 regionais distribuídas por todo o pais e diversos correspondentes nacionais e internacionais. A regional atual que esta secretariando a ABRASCA é a comunidade MATO DENTRO situada nas proximidades da cidade de São Lourenço -MG

O ENCA ( Encontro Nacional das Comunidade Aquarianas), é o evento nacional da ABRASCA este evento é o porta voz do movimento de comunidades, é destinado as pessoas que tem a proposta de viver em uma comunidade rural no Brasil. A finalidade desde movimento surgiu da necessidade de unir grupos e pessoas trocarem experiências, práticas e vivências comunitárias e rurais,tecnologias ecológicas, espiritualidade,terapias...informações para uma melhor qualidade de vida. Nos ENCAs as comunidades se apresentam e falam de suas experiências nos diversos aspectos da vida, este evento sempre é realizado em comunidades que necessitam de força de trabalho na sua fase inicial de estruturação, chega em alguns anos a reunir mais de mil pessoas, não se cobra nada para participar e se realiza através de doações e trabalho voluntárario. A ABRASCA se reúne nos ENCAs para ser informada do que pode estar ajudando o movimento e as comunidades durante o ano através das regionais. Os grupos se comunicam através de boletins informativos e encontro regionais, atualmente um grupo maior de pessoas estão adotando a Internet para se comunicarem.
