Just more "Stuff"......

Somewhere in my tribe travels, there's a skirt idea - either I found it or someone else did - had this on my mind when I woke up this morning - don't have my notebook handy -

a version of mermaid / trumpet skirt

just-above-knee-length straight skirt (slightly stretchy fabric ?velvet?)...zipper closure - this could be a store bought skirt, thrift store find or made from scratch - then

...(recognizable and obvious) Halloween RennFaire costumes

And not all of this seen on the paying guests. Our RennFaire has turned into a mid-year Halloween.

Pants - check
Entari - check
Tunic - check
Shoes - check
Hip Belt - check

I've tried taking the assembly apart - cleaning it / oiling it - and putting it back together...needle still hits in the wrong ... read more

Re: hooded top like Unmata (in Tribal Costuming) I've seen something similar at a dance clothing supply company on the 'net. It looks like they modified a ?tank hoodie?. Anyway, take a look at "Discount Dance Supply" www.discountdance.com.

Re: The Thread Killer.... (in The Everyday Bellydancer) <<side note to Lisa -
You'll never find how the ants get in - trust me on this. I've just eliminated about 5, yes -5-, colonies in various parts of my house. They were so bad, they were coming out of the nail holes behind pictures! Get your ha... read more

Re: Covering a Bra: A Costume Tutorial (in Tribal Costuming) It's fairly easy to slide the little tubes around - a little tougher if it's tight or a "grippy" type of fabric. It's one of those things you might have a dance-mate, or friend, check - just in case.
