I will always love him, wherever he is in his life, whether we never speak or talk frequently. He's just like that. Cool.

I read a lot on the web. One of my favorite topics to read about is renewable energy. I am very excited by the prospects available in this arena, and how rapidly progress is being made.

Major developments in solar, wind, geothermal and ocean (wave and current) power generation technologies are happening more rapidly now than at any point in my lifetime. It is an exciting time for renewable energy. And yet, I am troubled by some of the responses of environmentalists. One would thin... read more
I was talking to a guy recently, and he told me he thought he had figured out a lot of things about women.

This is a guy who is much younger than me, so I'm thinking to myself, "yeah RIGHT!" I mean, I've got a decade or more on this guy, and I haven't got the first clue. Sure, I've picked up some tools about myself...about who I am being...how I am acting...about my choices, commitments, actions and reactions...all sorts of stuff about ME that helps me relate better with women than I u... read more
So, the workshop junkie in me is at it again, and this time with a really great organization in San Francisco (they're also in New York) called OneTaste.

www.onetaste.us For those who haven't heard of it, OneTaste is an intentional community founded in 2004 in San Francisco. Their intentions are around empowered and connected living, and around orgasm as a daily meditative practice. This may seem radical to some, and maybe it is. It fits right in with the other things I'v... read more
A little bit of freedom makes everyone nicer
February 27, 2008
I haven't seen Evan in awhile. Lately, he has been in my thoughts. I have a deep appreciation for who he is. He has impacted my life in ways that run deep. First, I love how he is just authentically himself, and truly committed to transformation. Second, he is incredibly smart, a true intellectual. Third, he is truly a mystical being, seeking the best from life, seeing beyond perception and never giving up.
I will always love him, wherever he is in his life, whether we never speak or talk frequently. He's just like that. Cool. January 7, 2006
After Spending time with him I'll say this. definatly genius and much amazing passionate and creative energy. Also, very very sweet, and someone you know you can trust from the moment you meet them until forever. I think there will be 3 things that will really stick out in my mind about my experiences with him. The first, is that I was right about the good in bed part :) And he helped me more fully surrender into that side of myself. The second is our magical burning man journey toghther, and him noticing all the little things that made that place run. The third...we were toghther having an intense conversation in his room and suddenly an earthquake hits. The next moment he goes to the website to report the quake, and goes through the thousand and one questions they ask about it. "why are you doing this?" I ask. "it helps them" he says. He's just like that.... June 6, 2005
Evan strikes me as one of those lost geniuses that are secretly going to change the world on a massive scale. I get the feeling he's really good in bed, too.

Evan is my brother so you can call it bias if you want, but I feel compelled to say that he is the best man I know on the planet.
Not only is he unbelievably intelligent, artistic, and an amazing healer and massage therapist, he is the best man on the planet. That's a rather grandiose statement, so let me qualify. The quality of MY life would not be even close to what it is if he were not part of it. I would not be where I am as a person or a woman if it were not for his help, his love, and his counsel. In fact, earlier today, I was walking over the Golden Gate Bridge, contemplating what it might be like to hurl myself over it (not that I would actually do it, but it at least gives you an idea of my sad state of mind). After speaking with Evan, for only about a half hour, I realized the possibilites that lie ahead for me. Quite a switch, and it wasn't one of those "feel better in the moment" types of conversations. I truly see the possibilites. His love, honesty, and advice has gotten me through some hard times. He's the best! January 20, 2005
Getting a massage from Evan turns you into jello within a couple of minutes, but then he keeps going for the next hour and a half! He's not just a good masseuse, but a good energy worker. He's very in tune with what's going on energetically within the body. Oh, and I love his sound healing vibrational massage table! I could just stay there all day!
Evan is also a very interesting guy with all kinds of crazy knowledge on metaphysics and such. I think I'll keep his number around...

about me
I'm half monkey and half dragon, and
I wrassle emotions for exercise. I can swallow lead and spit out gold, and I occasionally imbibe sacraments as mental floss. I have the craziest ex-girlfriend, and the most powerful friends in California, and I can breathe in the vacuum of space. No one can stop me, no one can top me, and I beam the searing fire of love out of my eyes. Friends, Angelinos, countrymen, lend me your ears. I come to bury "reality," not to praise it. It's all your own creation. YOUR own fuckin' creation, you idiots!
