Yesterday I had to turn in the paperwork to get my new 5 year residency card it was timely. Nowhere did it say I needed to arrive before 9 when they give out 35 numbers. So I got there at 12:30 and they said I could wait an hour to see if there was time before they closed at 2:30. There were 2 guys ahead of me that had been there since 9 am cause they didn't get numbers. Also there, sadly was an elderly Spanish couple that had also been standing there since then.

The Louisiana judge sounds like my husband's 86 year old grandmother who was raised in Missouri. I rarely give any thought to being in an "interracial" marriage. Fortunately, except for T's grandmother's concerns about our having kids (which isn't gonna happen) I've never witness anyone giving us any kind of racist vibe.
