I first went to Faerieworlds in 2006 after learning about it from Heather Alexander's website. I knew of Brian Froud, but didn't have any of his books. I got some and he signed them for me at the event. I had no costume that first time, but made a start with a leaf hat and elf ears. I loved the spirit of the Realm and knew I'd be back. For Faerieworlds 2007 I chose to be a wizard. I found lots of things to pin to my pointed wizard hat. For Faerieworlds 2009 the hat has become much more populated and I've gotten more involved in getting my costume together and volunteering. 2009 looks like it will be the best and biggest Faerieworlds yet.

I like listening to Celtic music, photography, reading science fiction, some mysteries and some humor. I've spent a lot of time making web pages on Squidoo.com (they call their pages "lenses" because they're supposed to focus on a topic). I've specialized in Celtic music but also have pages on authors (science fiction, mysteries, humor) and I've got a pretty decent lens about Mount St. Helens.
