To Jen and Zephyr (blog entry) A FRIEND’S EXISTENCE
© 1996, Wayne Lee

Will you remember all the days
when I was there with you,
remembering my smile and my laughter?

Or will you forget
and dwell in the lost instead,
mourning for your friend’s farewell?

A portrait ... read more

A FRIEND’S EXISTENCE
© 1996, Wayne Lee

Will you remember all the days
when I was there with you,
remembering my smile and my laughter?

Or will you forget
and dwell in the lost instead,
mourning for your friend’s farewell?

A portrait of my existence
lies deep within your heart,
cherishing the memories we once shared.

Or will you decide
nothing is worth keeping,
losing the special dream you once held?

Love will never die.
Love is deep inside.
Friendships are forever.

What a long strange week it's been. I do think that the snow is beautiful, but the freezing temps and ice are scary when I still have to drive to work and get around town. The weather is bad for business when nobody wants to risk their life for dance class or to go the theater. We still have to get through this weekend with one more play to finish up. It doesn't look to good for the show to go on this weekend. I'm home today until the director of the current play tells me whether the sho... read more

I am being a good patient and following the dr's orders of rest and fluids. Thanks to my husband who has been able to be home and care for me so that I can rest and also thanks to Jen who is covering my classes. I am trying to be patient, but I am starting to go stir crazy. How much longer before I feel like myself again?

Ok - rant ... read more

I'm not sure how I did it, but somehow I raised a couple of amazing sons! I was such a young mom; my first born just before I turned 19. I felt that communication would be my greatest tool for keeping them safe and well. I expected them to go through all the normal experimentation with sex, drugs, etc. and as long as we were able to talk about everything that we would survive it all. I was especially worried about this since both of their parents are addictive personalities. Neither of t... read more
