about me
After a lifetime of creative meandering (ranging from being a professional dancer and actor, to harpist, to country music radio jock, to marketing and strategic planning consultant among other pursuits), I landed in a graduate program in mythological studies and psychology at Pacifica Graduate Institute, and finished a Ph.D. there in 2005. With my diploma in one hand and a dissertation on frivolity in the other (the perfect exercise in pointlessness), I figured it was time to do my own version of trying to save the world. So, I founded The Imaginal Institute, a conduit for imagining, figuring that if we're going to change anything, we've got to imagine what we can make different. The Institute offers online learning, gatherings, and this year will be launching a publishing venture, all with a dash of reverent irreverance. We're having big fun.
