</a>
										<div>Even through my misgivings about the ticket prices and not having my family be able to come to see me I still had a good time. It's the sisterhood of the dancers that makes a world of difference.
My teacher is Cheryl Martin. A great gal and sweet teacher. She can laugh at your screw ups and you don't feel like a failure. You end up laughing along!
The other girls are Jamie, Christeana, Cameron and occasionally Jennifer is with us.
We did two dances, Hadouni and The Candle Dance. We did have another dance cut a week or so ago. But we made due since there really were a lot of dances at the show and everybody deserves a chance in the spot light.
I think we all did very well, though I think my movements were not as fluid or pronounced as I had practiced. I wasn't nervous, least I didn't feel that way at all. Maybe it was the new setting and it seemed like the lights were even brighter than dress rehearsal. Perhaps my senses were working over time!
The only real "problem" was that we ended up further forward on the stage than in practice and there was a sensor or something right in front of me where I would be doing my solo! It stuck up about an inch and a half or so and I was bound to step on it! I could just see it breaking underfoot or being electrocuted on stage and haunting that place forever! Ha!
So I had to adjust my steps out toward the audience and adjust my twirl (which was not as fluid as I would have liked) and when I stopped I had to be sure I was away from the sensor altogether. Too much to think of in front of complete strangers! LOL! But no trips, foot rolls or boobs falling out of the costume. So I'll take that as a triumph!!
I was a bit unsure a few times and caught myself looking around at the other girls for gaging my distance.
They had no video taping allowed, so I will have to wait till I get a copy and see if we can post it on U Tube.
I'll have the hubby take pics of me in costume today. He was sleeping for his night shift and was unable to take them yesterday. Ugh! Another day of make up hair and this heat is going to be so much fun to dress up in!
Afterwards Christeana, Cheryl and I hit a restaurant for some much needed food and a drink. It was a very nice ending to a great evening. Thanks again for supper Teana!! I owe you one!
I'll post pics here and on tribes too.! Catch you all later!!
Post here about your first time too!

Llama mamma low down

<div>I contacted the gal we got Suki and Dolly from. I needed to double check my dates of gestation. I told her they are either way due or they are fat pigs in llama suits!
She said they are due...any... minute!! They are PG for 11 months, but can hold out to 13 months if conditions are bad (predators, stress, weather) according to some old timers in llama breeding.
I have to get the rest of my "birthing" items together. I have some cria coats and towels, but need more stuff. I'll take pics as I can if we are able to catch them having the babies. Many times they will watch you leave after you're being so diligent in their care and they go "Hey they left...time to have a baby!" So let's hope we get lucky!</div>
