June 3, 2006 - Marcia and I made it to our years anniversary, on May 21st, of being smoke-free!!!

It's bittersweet because my Ebony has been gone nearly four months now (will be on the 23rd). I think about her every day. It's getting a little easier, but I still find myself crying sometimes at night. I keep her favorite blanket on the bed beside me. When I feel the need to be really close to her, I pick it up, smell it (it still holds her scent as if she just laid on it), and hold it close to me. I often go to sleep holding it.

Butterfly kisses and Catnip wishes my sweet furbaby. I'll love you forever and a day.
