about me
I am a hopeful romantic and as such I believe that a great many things can be overcome if people set their hearts to it. I also believe that life is what we make it. I know that life is not always easy. Relationships are not always easy but things worth having are worth the work. That is what makes them rewarding. I believe in communication. It's important that people share their feelings, hopes, dreams and fears. Otherwise you cannot have a good and lasting relationship. I believe in being honest and living by a set of principles. I believe in doing unto others, as you would have them do unto you.

I am totally, completely, absolutely spent..... (blog entry) ...and loving it. :-) I can barely write but I am still euphoric from today's track day so I wanted to write about it before the feelings waned. With every track day there is a beginning, a middle and an end. The middle being the actually meat... read more

Anticapation (blog entry) I am giddy with anticipation. I've done two track days this year and on Wednesday I'm going to Infineon again. I can hardly wait. My motorcycle is totally dialed in. I recently got a new chain and sprockets, I had the suspension serviced and I... read more

Take Pause (blog entry) How do you keep from creating wreckage? You take pause, which is just another way of saying “practice restraint of pen and tongue”. We can practice the 11th step either proactively or reactively. Most often we practice it reactively which means... read more

...and loving it. :-) I can barely write but I am still euphoric from today's track day so I wanted to write about it before the feelings waned. With every track day there is a beginning, a middle and an end. The middle being the actually meat of the event. That is the riding of course. I have said this before and I will say it again, for me, there is nothing else like riding at the track. In order to do so however there is preparation that must take place and clean up at the end of th... read more

I am giddy with anticipation. I've done two track days this year and on Wednesday I'm going to Infineon again. I can hardly wait. My motorcycle is totally dialed in. I recently got a new chain and sprockets, I had the suspension serviced and I have good rubber on the wheels. The chain and suspension work was way over due so I am curious to see how it will feel at the track. I am so excited about my track days this year. Last year I only did two days in September and decided that this ye... read more

How do you keep from creating wreckage? You take pause, which is just another way of saying “practice restraint of pen and tongue”. We can practice the 11th step either proactively or reactively. Most often we practice it reactively which means we admit we are wrong after the fact. We find that we have harmed someone when taking a personal inventory and then must make amends. If however we are practicing the 11th step proactively that means we take the time to think before we act so we d... read more
