Greybat, who?

I decided to change my bio name to greybat, which is more in keeping with my postings on other sites. The Bat has been my power animal for years, and a few close friends and coven-mates do adress me as "Bat", which always surprises and pleases me. But most of the time I'm quite content to be "Dean".

My favourite Bat
Used to be Batty from "Fern Gully" (the sequel sucks) but then I met you. I'm just curious as to which shade of grey. Since you're a fabulous artist, I'm sure it is an exquisite shade from the palette of 4096 shades. Something like Grecian Twilight Grey or Euridian Moon.

Grey is so mutable... change your angle of viewing and it's a different colour... pearl becomes pussywillow, storm becomes pewter. Change the light and drab becomes driftwood, zinc becomes quicksilver. Add or remove a single grain of colorant, and ash becomes meditation, cobweb becomes cloud. What shade is Bat? Every bat has a different answer, and every bat is a different shade.
