I have an amazing life but it seems there is always something missing.The Insatiable human spirit. always pushing for more.
More money, more sex, more power, more,more.......tiring really. must find center. must breath...

Humans
It is funny how we have what we need, but always seem to want more.
I often wonder if there will ever be a time in life when I just get up everyday fully satisfied with everything I have and look forward to whatever life brings that day with no expectations but to enjoy my time no matter how it's spent. Is there a person out there so calm and so satisfied? Hope you had a Happy New Year and 2009 is filled with all you need and a few of those extras you are striving for. I passed by your house a few times when heading to the Penguin and other stuff. Was that an Elvis Bust I saw? Cheers, Susan |

Ah JJ - your very presence is inspiring. I don't know what it is, maybe all these invaluable self help books I read, or the fact that I spent new year's eve is a deep meditation with my sangha, or it could have something to do with seeing 3 therapists ;) - but whatever it is - I AM CONTENT RIGHT NOW AND HAPPY WITH MY LIFE. Sure there are challenges, ups and downs, good and bad thingys - but honestly - all we have is right now - and for that I am eternally grateful. We are so lucky. Lucky to know each other, lucky to have all our limbs, our senses, food, shelter, LIFE. I love you guys and I miss you. 2009 has already proven to be a spectacular year - oh and bman tickets go on sale this Wednesday :)
