No, it isn't. Tthink pumps to circulate the water and chemicals from a chemical plant to provide the nutrients, not to mention some weird growing media. There also tends to be lots of plastic involved; pipes, channels,fittings, etc

Definitely not quick to set up, nor is it strong or stable.
