I know that several people just gasped in shock. Sober Daze was asked to play at halftime for the first game of the season! Of course I went to (wo)man the merch booth with Cassie and get to see some roller-skatin' ass-kickin'! It was the 2008 champions, the Holy Rollers, vs the All Scar Army - a team made up of the best players from the previous year's leagues. Let's recap... Last NYE, I was at a house party at the Comal Co-op. Sober Daze and Terror Management Theory played. Matt got too drunk and Thomas drove him home, but nobody told us they were leaving, so we thought Matt had driven home shitfaced and that Thomas was lost. We lost Jughead - and found him passed out in the corner. I signed up for classes!!! I'm going to TF '09! Now I just need to look at plane tix and save up some SHOPPING MONIES!! So... excited.... i can start dancing again (after surgery) NEXT WEEK! I'm chopming at the bit to get started!
