My thoughts and constant rambilings

Invisible Children

This morning I watched a powerful yet painful documentary called "Invisible Children". The story of the children of northern Uganda. I feel at a lost for words when I think about all the pain in this world. This world is thirsting for love, and we all have our part to do. Please watch this movie it will only take an hour of you time, but I know it will change your life. One of the greatest gifts we can have is to be the voice for those who do not have one.
Here is the movie:

kids
this is interesting coming from an absent father. I am the voice for Cian and Sean, who DO have one, but no means to express it. Sean is distraught everyday over his lack of a father... Cian is too young to understand but it will certainly derail both of their development if you cannot even be honest with them, if only to the most minute extent; a phone call or even better an actual visit. One day you will regret missing out on the development of your amazing children and your lack of support to your wife. It is unfair to ignore facets of your life that you simply don't feel like acknowledging or dealing with. Both of your sons have called me dad, which breaks my heart and should break yours. Instead of watching a documentary, how about spending some time with your actual children? ... I will pray for you and hopefully some day (sooner than later) you will get your shit together and realize the suffering you are causing yourself, your children, and Athena, who should not have to bear the responsibility of raising these kids alone; maximum respect to her for her tireless efforts and amazing parenting skills, perhaps they are better off without you, as I do not know what condition you are in. But do not forget that these are your offspring... "Invisible Children" indeed.
