Fuschia defies the law of conservation of mass by packing 10 pounds of *A*W*E*S*O*M*E* into a 5-pound sack. I dunno how she does it, but I bet those corsets have something to do with it.

Fuschia is such a special woman. She is someone I find myself often in awe of. She is so intelligent and loves and knows her books (her hubby and I and her all met when we worked at Borders in CT). She has a love of Russian/Slavic language and has traveled there and has been studying the literature. She is going for her doctorate. She is such a driven individual. Everything I have seen her go after she has gotten. She is beautiful and sensual and passionate and really helped me come more out of my shell and embrace being a attractive and sexy woman. She is another of my friends who I know loves me unconditionally. She is such a great writer. Hopefully she will post some of her writing. She is warm, affectionate and so positive and supportive towards those she cares about. She is a beautiful geek who loves her slash:) She has an angelic side and a cute naughty side :) She taught me being a geek was cool :)She is my "kindred spirit" like minded soul as sited in Anne of Green Gables. We have so much in common from likes to personality, tho of course she is very much her own unique individual. I feel so blessed that I found such a friend like her 9 years ago and what is really great is she moved to MA (from Michigan) one year ago and now I get to see her often yay! If you want to get to know someone who I find such a treasure please send her a message to her.

about me
I am a Ph.D. student, working on a dissertation on late Imperial Russian fiction for adolescent girls, dividing my time between teaching, working as an editor for an educational company, writing my dissertation, and wrestling with my own creative writing in the meantime. I am a neo-Victorian, nouveau-Raphaelite, a steampunk girl in a cyber world, my skirts tangled on the razor wire but my eyes looking towards the stars.

My husband and I run a comic book, graphic novel, and gaming shop in Northampton, Massachusetts called Modern Myths. It's fun and exhausting all at once. *******************************
"A moment before the Doctor opened the door for them, Fuchsia turned her face up to his and parted her lips in a smile of such dark, sweet loveliness, so subtly blended with her brooding strangeness, that the Doctor's hand clenched the handle of the door. He had never seen her look like this before. He had always thought of her as an ugly girl of whom he was strangely fond. But now, what was it he had seen?"
