Hardy Hibiscus

Here's a new Hibiscus I aquired this last spring in bloom in August. The plant reached 5' tall and had over 100 blooms this summer. I'm curious to see how well it survives winter. I plan to mulch it with leaves to help keep it protected.

Here's the plant after the buds all opened. At least 50 people had the pleasure of smelling and seeing this beauty that night....several were captured by her smell and didn't leave until we closed!
