I am a greenwitch, one who works with the Universal Life Force, the Energy in all, with nature and plants being especially of interest. I am bisexual, and believe that separate but equal is never actually equal. Kindness and compassion are more important than being right. Our words are powerful, and can destroy as easily as they can build. I have been through an abusive relationship, as well as bullying, and so know first hand just how damaging emotional and verbal abuse can be. As a consequence, I do what I know to be right, regardless of who disagrees, whether they be strangers, friends, or family.

Belly Dancing tonight was a blast. I have to practice my shimmies however, since I have a really hard time with them. I suspect the instructor wants to get us to a point where we can actually form a troupe, which would be so much fun. She encouraged us to find bits and pieces this next week, in order to make our own belts. We're going to bring in what we've found next week. This fits right in with my love of thrifting.

I miss my garden already.
