I started studying Gypsy Caravan style Tribal Bellydance on Halloween of 2006. My fantastic teacher, Amy H-J, taught me the steps and the techniques, but somewhere along the way I learned a lot about myself too. I'd almost forgotten that life can be a lot of fun if you just do things that you love, and dancing brought that back to me.

In the summer of 2007, I also had the pleasure of studying with Amy (and Ali and Tanya) of N.O.madic Tribal, which gave me a different, more ATS, perspective on bellydance and taught me much about the physiology. We also gave a little recital at the Dragon's Den in New Orleans, which was really fun!

Recently I moved from the Big Easy to the Big Apple, and now I'm studying with the lovely Miss Mimi Fontana and her troupe, Manhattan Tribal. It's been super fun!
