Evergreen
Sun, December 24, 2006 - 10:46 PMWitness
The unfolding of events as they seem to accelerate
an apparant onslaught of imbalanced madness
Looking at the trees that have gone inward for the season
Looking at the trees that are keeping watch
Evergreen
Watching the mountain taking a rest under the snow
I begin to stir as the days grow longer
I begin to long for a lost family
Where have I been living?
Always there in the middle of paradise
Too blind to see
I ask now
The trees
The rabits
The stink bugs still hanging on in my house
I ask my eyes
My hands
My heart
I lean forward, attentive
I wait for a glimmer

Thanks comes back around full circle.
Returning after some time away I found your thank for an entry long forgotten. Thank you for drawing my attention to just the thing I needed to remember. |
