I have learned a lot from Delilah. Both directly as her student, and also through workshops and retreats where she has sponsored an amazingly eclectic group of instructors and musicians.
She's the real deal, this one. She deeply cares - about bellydance and about her students. And she really thinks about this stuff (and as well has so very many creative ideas, and the energy and enthusiasm to make things happen.) She is hooked into Magic and the big Ahh Hahs, and she WANTS to share! Participating in her retreats and workshops has quite literally changed my life, bringing me unforgettable experiences, dear friendships - oh, and dance experience and training too!
Thank you, Delilah. You have truly enriched my life as a dancer and as a human! I hope our paths cross again soon.

Delilah - A True Visionary
This woman never ceases to amaze me. Not only is she an inspiration as a dancer, performer and artist, she is also a woman of incredible vision without calling upon it. She lies awake at night with half-written books, projects, political agendas, and solutions to local and world-wide problems dancing in her head. And this is not an exaggeration. She is so alive with imagination the woman doesn't sleep! How does she do it? She doesn't know, but she DOES. I am so incredibly honored to be a part of her world. And so often I anticipate my next meeting with her like a child waiting to hear a prophet speak.
Always.... amazing, new and innovative ideas come through her. Half the time, she doesn't even know where the come from or why! The ideas just flow. Any one who has the opportunity to really *listen* to Delilah speak, even if for a short moment in time: Open your ears. Open your heart and your mind. The words may not speak of tender life and love; more often of power, assertiveness and universal truths. You may wonder at first what she's getting at. But once it's sunk in, her wisdom is deep and pervasive.
I look forward to many years of work, friendship and learning with you, Delilah. Thank you for making your world, OURS.

Delilah is a genius. Her creative power pulls you into her imagination and you are transported to other dimensions. Year after year I am continually inspired and challenged. She is as much shaman as dancer. I am blessed to know her.

I've only had the opportunity to dine with Delilah once, but I was immediately captivated and inspired. She's crazy brilliant, gorgeous, thought provoking and strong.

What Power!!
I had the pleasure of taking both of Delilahs workshops this last
Iamed weekend. The Power Belly drills and demostrations from Delilah
reaffirmed that we have to train our muscles, which, sometimes(I forget)
And the beautiful veil drapes. I loved the veil Origami drapes.
What Beautiful Costume on performance night at the Amphitheater!
It's always a treat to see Delilah dance!

On future horizons?
We are aiming at the big PYRAMID and parade dance project for this years Fremont Solstice Parade (June 16) and Belly Con (June 8-16) which will feature a large buffet of belly dance and related dance instructors from around the area

I am taking House of Tarab to Las Vegas (July 30th-August 4) with me to particapate in the International Belly Dance Convention. ( www.theIBDC.com). Then I am co-hosting Lorrain Lafata from Boston for a 3 day workshop on August 10,11,12 “Embracing Aphrodite” here in Seattle.
On the production and promotion line;
DVD
We have 2 new DVD’s we have produced and yet to advertise very hard;
• Combinations with Delilah intermediate level
• Delilah and Sirocco Live and Wild and Wilder on DVD
We have an 2 instructional DVD’s in the works; 9/8 Gypsy Veil and
Hathor; Ancient Egyptian Movement Meditations.
Music;
We are promoting “ House of Tarab” new CD, and this is the year of Rumi so we are promoting Rapture Rumi by Steven Flynn.
I am proud to report;
My POWER BELLY Weight belts are selling like heavy hot cakes! Our teachers are expanding at VDP STUDIO and we are offering classes morning afternoon and evenings!
Travel on the horizon;
