<div>Okay, I've been gone for what seems like it's been forever but I'm back now and that's what counts. Glad to see I didn't lose too many friends while I was away. Been through some good times and some sorrowful times but, hey! that's what life is all about anyway, isn't it? You've all heard the saying "That which does not kill us makes us stronger" ???? ( or some such bulls**t) but I guess it's true since I feel like I've made it through and can finally see the light. Don't know if I'm any wiser yet but figure I've GOT to be stronger because at least I made it!
Glad to be back!</div>

<div>I dreamed of you again last night. How I wish I did not. How I grateful I am that I do. You are always with me and yet I cannot find you. You exist in some far off place in a far off time and yet you are always with me in the here and now. Are you only the smoke of my dreams or memories of a reality a long time past. Will I ever know? Do I really want to know? How I hate this memory that leaves these tears on my pillow. How happy I am for this smile they leave in their place.

    </a>
<div>...While she (Mrs. Darling) slept she had a dream. She dreamt that the Neverland had come too near and that a stange boy had broken through from it. He did not alarm her, for she thought she had seen him before in the faces of many women who have no children. Perhaps he is to be found in the faces of some mothers also. But in her dream he had rent the film that obscures the Neverland, and she saw Wendy and John and Micheal peeping through the gap.

The dream by itself would have been a trifle, but while she was dreaming the window of the nursery blew open, and a boy did drop on the floor. He was accompanied by a strange light, no bigger than your fist, which darted about the room like a living thing; and I think it must have been this light that wakened Mrs. Darling.

She started with with a cry, and saw the boy, and somehow she knew at once that he was Peter Pan. If you or I or Wendy had been there we should have seen that he was very like Mrs. Darling's kiss. He was a lovely boy, clad in skeleton leaves and the juices that ooze out of trees; but the most entrancing thing about him was that he had all of his first teeth. When he saw she was a grown-up, he gnashed the little pearls at her.

<div>AOL, Yahoo, Windows Explorer...and on and on! My head is spinning, my eyes are swimming and my stomach is churning! This Great Age of Technology is driving me CRAZY. It all promises so much and in the end is just one big headache! Always promising to be the sky and earth, the One, The Divine! Then why is it all so hard to figure out and get it to work when it's supposed to?! I have spent last night and this morning trying to correct one problem when another one appears just as fast. Remember when the PC first came out, promising it would be the next best thing since heaven on earth? Well, I ask you now: Has it really delivered on it's promise? Yes, Tribes is fantastic and I do think in one way it is heaven on earth opening a whole new world to me, giving me the chance to email friends and family when I don't really want to talk and giving me the news when I don't want to subscribe to a regular newspaper. I give you that. But on the other hand, think of all the trouble it's caused as well: identity theft, spam, more commercials than television, piracy, worms, blackholes and viruses and constant new updates that make the old system obsolete. I ask you now: has it really replaced sliced bread the way it way supposed to?</div>

<div>Never a tide goes out to sea
But carries a bit of the heart of me
Riding the foam and the gray sea-wrack,
Caring no whit if it ne'er comes back,
Drifting over the seven seas
Driven by trade-wind, storm and breeze,
Hearing the cry of the sad sea-loon,
Floating a while in a blue lagoon,
Bleached and scorched by the tropic suns,
Spun away when the rip-tide runs,
On and over and back and forth
Up to the still white frozen north
Where a weary day is a long half year
And out of the icebergs dead men peer.
Hither and thither and on and yon,
Glamorous night and clamorous dawn,
Gaining nothing and losing less,
Loving the joy, accepting the stress,
Taking whatever the Fates may give.
God! It's a glorious life to live.

    </a>
<div>When you hear a child's laugh, or the flap of a butterfly's wings
The tinkling of bells, and clouds that seem to sing
Whenever you see beauty in a rock or in the mystery of a tree
Whenever you hold the fertile earth in your hands then you are holding a piece of Me.

Do you hear Me whisper with words of wonder and delight?
Do you have fanciful dreams of fields of green and flying with wings on a moonlit night?

I am what you imagine and everything you wish and dream.
I can seem so very far away but I am always closer than I seem.
I am beauty, art and notes on the music page
A baby's smile, a puppy's wagging tail
Fluffy kittens, even cotton candy
And dream ships with a bright blue sail.

I am a spark, the flint, and the new flame,
Creation and inspiration. Do you now know my name?
Let us weave a magickal web of whimsical words in bright, bold paint
I am the Triple Goddess to the Pagans and to the Christians a glorious saint.

Paint me a picture or write me a poem. Fill it with words that are rich and make it rather long
Or fill a page with muscial notes and call it Brigid's song...

Note: The picture here comes from a card entitled "Erupting Forces" by Jean-Paul Avisse</div>
