So yesterday was our first show! What a trial by fire! First one of the horses wouldn't load so I wound up having to call my manager. After changing trailers (and the rig I drove had no trailer brakes) we were finally off. I promptly got the truck stuck but thankfully they were prepared and pulled us out!

After much work trying to figure out how the poorly organized show was run we were finally underway! One of my girls got a 5th in her first class and then fell off in her second round. She did better for her third round though and I was pretty thrilled with her in general, especially since her horse was the problem child all day!

But my student helper won my favorite class, equitation over the fences. She also placed third in her pony hunter classes and the classic. My problem child horse won second place in her under saddle class so that meant the girl riding her finally made a connection.

We may not ride that circuit again since they were so terribly disorganized. But we'll see.

Stiil, one of my babies won a blue ribbon! Out of 11 riders!
