so...thought it was about time to update this bad boy! i am currently enjoying my new job working @ ydi with at risk youth as a music teacher. Just started but it's real cool so far. still lookin for something else to supplement my income though! born in Baltimore but grew up since i was seven in burque, south valley and warzone with a few years of northeastheights sprinkled in when mama married up! i graduated from high school...yes, ME, i graduated, in 04, went to UNM in 05, then took off to Cali on an exchange program for 06. One year wasn't enough for me though, so i dropped out and pursued a musical career for a little while (i was a music major...i play guitar, drums, bass, keyboard, and can scratch a little, but i was out there rapping for the most part), but it's tough out there! still, made a lot of progress with myself post drug issues and everything. no mas for me, all natural if that! so after a short lived tour this summer and the subsequent collapse of my group i began working on my own music. i do a monthly show that's getting quite a bit of press and usually a pretty big crowd over @ hunab hookah lounge every 2nd saturday. we also do shows in between some time! i have shows at bars coming up downtown, uptown, and everywhere, santa fe, and some stuff in gallup, farmington, and colorado! check myspace (tuscanooga) if you're interested. i still make beats and i've been working on recording, but i don't think recorded music is the way of the future personally...it's all about performance! so i've been trying to get a live band type of deal going in the funk vein, somethin we can basically perform anywhere. i still rap, but it's a lot more melodic and singing based these days. poetic and lyrical but a lot more based on rhythm and saying what I want to say, you know? oh, but i'll probably REattempt to go back to school (tvi lasted exactly one class last semester) in the fall if money allows it over at NM highlands (social work is tha way to go if you got a soul, amen!). if i don't take off for more travel, this winter stuff is killin me! anyway, sorry for rambling, but hopefully you got an idea about me now!
