My art has become increasingly revealing (to me) since I began Art therapy not long ago. Of course, what is amazing about what transpires on the canvas before me is that I have never before approached art with a "this is what i'm going to paint" sort of attitude. Yet still, the subconcious (or muse) pushes through your hand, I believe, even down to the choice of color. In a universe where either everything means something or nothing means anything, I prefer the first. Now this painting, "Impaling Incubus", is a good case in point. My Goddess! If you can't guess where I'm coming from on this one...
I was in hysterics trying to come up with a title. Here are a few options that I temporarily nixed...
"Mal de Tete, Encore" (Headache, again)
"Birth Control"
So much for Foreplay"
and on and on...
