… it’s amazing the things you can learn, and the people who help you.
This is my final week in Peru. I’ll be back in the EE.UU soon and in a strange way, I don’t feel as sad as I expected. But then, it seems we learn the most when we confront the unexpected.
I’m spending these last hours saying goodbyes and trying to squeeze the most out of my remaining time. Seems to work best when I just get the hell out of the way and let things unfold. I was in the jungle recently and everything the...

Hey everyone!!
Sorry so long between updates, but much has happened in the past couple weeks. Most of it good. Some of it great. A little not so good.
The crew here in Peru continues to grow, and the people we’re attracting are great! Last count we had 40+ people, representing 13 nations. We’re getting more people with legit Spanish skills too so it’s not so hectic for me anymore, running from site to site.

Hey everyone!!
Been here in Peru 2 weeks now and it feels like a lifetime. So much going on, and so many wonderful people helping out with BwB. It's been truly amazing. I have never had such an intense feeling of being exactly where I am supposed to be. It transcends words.
I’m in Pisco, Peru which is on the coast a couple hours south of Lima (the capital). It’s a lot like Baja California here. It’s a hot and dusty desert next to the ocean with lots of poor people, excellent seafood and...

Greetings to all my friends and family.
Just wanted to put up a short post to let everyone know that I’ll be gone for a while working in Peru. So please don’t be offended if I can’t reply to emails or msgs in a timely manner.
As some of you know, I just started up the Cascade Regional chapter of Burners without Borders. That’s off to a good start and it’s been a wonderful way to start a new year, helping people in need.
I’ll be taking that energy with me to Pisco, Peru to work on ano...

My first-ever blog isn't about me. It's about an organization I've just started.
Burners without Borders is a wonderful group of people that we're all familiar with. But maybe some of you didn't know that it has Regional groups too, just like the greater BM community. And I've just created the BWB Cascade Regional here in Puddletown.
Like anyone involved in a charitable enterprise, I don't "run" the organization - I serve it. Along with all the beautiful people who are surrounding me an...
