Getting ready for the big Mexico retreat. Can't wait to be singing Mestre in the high desert... Soon I will be immersed in community, amazing food, music, horses, bikes, hot springs and ceremony. I love how it is all divinely manifested.

God’s irradiation, God’s presence, God’s gaze, God protection, God’s justice, the Divine Justice, the wisdom that comes from God, the wisdom and knowledge that comes from the Holy ghost, God’s word brought by his son, God’s son, God in everything, God in the perfection, sovereign and kind God, God in the lightning, God in the Thunder, God in the dew, God in the intuition, God in the revelation, God in the ecstasy, God in the visionary experience, manifested God, present God.

This room is filled with God’s presence. In God I move, in God I exist, in God I follow, in God I firm myself, in God I breathe, in God I feed myself, in God I stand up, with God I keep on going, in front of God I repent myself.

From God’s mercy I receive my pardon, with God I cheer up, with God I encourage myself, with God I endure, with God I tame myself.

Without God I don't live, without God’s light I don't see, without God’s love I don’t feel, without God’s word I don't know Life, the meaning of life, the meaning of existence; only with God.

Only God, only God, only God… is who can hold us, for us to win the battle. Blessed is God with all His beings and blessed is God with all His attributes. This is the house of God; this is the home of God, where the souls come to meet with Him and also with Her - God manifested in the Holy Mother. God the mercy, God the providence, God the kindness, God the assistance, God the emergency hospital.

With God I came, with God I go, with God I am, with God I defend myself, With God I guide myself, with God I feel safe, with God I feel firmed, with God I feel happy. My spirit rejoices in God’s presence as I reconcile myself, as I regain balance, as I surrender myself, as I repent, and as I ask my pardon I get closer to the Holy Light.

Starting to feel then the Holy Light in me, the Holy Light in my heart, the divine spark, the flame of the sacred fire that lights me, that keeps me alive, that keeps me awake, alert, and vigilant, with the will to resist to all evil, with the prayer remembrance and the permanent prayer.

Poor is the soul that lives disconnected. Poor is the soul that lives in God’s absence, lost in its own illusions, lost in its own fantasies, lost in its own pride, in its own vanity, in its own selfishness.

Happy is the soul that does not surrender and allows the sun to enter, lets in the air and lets life renew. That’s what we are here for. We are here for this encounter, for this communion that gives us the clarity, which gives us the knowledge of the truth, of who we are and what we are doing.

In this search and in this encounter honoring God, remembering the words of Our Lord Jesus Christ – ‘Whoever wants to follow with me, whoever wants to come after me, deny yourself, take your cross and follow me. Here, for us to also follow Jesus Christ, we have to deny our iniquity, our primitive being, the instinct’s empire, the lust’s empire, the sense’s empire, the empire of the self, the ego’s empire. Everything is necessary to be left behind so that the soul can liberate itself from the ego’s cocoon, so that the soul can break through the ego’s cloister, the tower!

The tower that keeps closed the heart, which keeps blind the eyes, that keeps deaf the ears, before God’s truth, before the infinite, before the eternity, before the sun and the stars, the lights that shine in the sky.

Then each one here seek your own liberation from your inner prisons that limits you, that restricts you, that impedes the soul to accomplish its destiny which is to arrive before God, get united and to belong to God, break through the limits of the flesh, break though the limits of the physical body, break through the limits of the human personality which is another prison, that many live already discouraged because they don't manage to change, they don't manage to transform themselves, they are always committing the same mistakes, they are always falling in the same anguish, the same dissatisfactions, in the same complaints, the same fights and confusions, in the same emptiness, in the same neediness, in the same loneliness. Then they live in the agony, trying to fill a bottomless hole, hypnotized by their own nightmares, slaves of their guilt, with difficulty to love, with difficulty of being who they truly are, still living in ignorance, still living in laziness, still living in the unconsciousness.

It is then very important that each person could really achieve conscience of yourself, look at yourself, communion with God, ask God the Light to know yourself, mostly where it is “happening”, mostly where you are suffering or making it suffer, mostly where it is not getting out of the corner, mostly where you do not manage to change. God is here! To assist, to help, to aid all the ones that seek the truth in him (her) self, but that does not accomplish. The ones that know but they doubt. The ones that know but do not carry it out.

They believe but at the decisive hour they deny! This is the general situation. It happens with us all. Therefore it is necessary to take Daime, it is necessary to open the mind; it is necessary to increase the cognitive capacity so that the knowledge of God’s truth can liberate, cure, transform and change; the act of becoming conscious.

The soul comes to the church to consult with God, mostly in those subjects where it can't talk anything with nobody because even the soul does not know how to explain and neither the others know how to understand. Then it seeks God and it surrenders, presents itself, asking for a light, asking for support, asking thus for some vitality, a courage to face it all and to win. Who prays with God never tires, of begging and of asking, because he (she) knows that he (she) is going to receive to the point of being able to manage and accomplish the instructions, the intuitions and the revelations that come inside a session, that come inside a ritual, that come at the hour which the soul then gets humble before God and shows its complaints, its injuries, its wounds in its heart, its suffering. Gets down, takes off the mask, stops pretending, stops fooling itself, kneels at the foot of the cross in an act of surrender, an act of confession, intimate confession between the creature and the creator. Sincere confession where the soul then seeks to clean itself, seeks to purify itself, seeks to get rid of the evil that it still carries inside, being it lies, being it brutality, being it falsehoods, whatever it is, this is the moment to lift the carpet, open the drawer, open the closet with the skeletons inside, open the basement, let the light come in, to have courage, to have dignity, truly seek this cleansing, to do this cleaning in order to drive away the evildoers, to be able to expel the energies and the feelings, the thoughts and negative words contaminated by rage, by resentment and aggressiveness, most of the times absolutely unnecessary but that are still pride’s caprices!

These are the caprices of the ego that live in the tower, which does not get down from the tower, which does not walk barefoot in the desert sand, to fraternize. It does not leave that fence, that wall, that barrier. It does not let in, it does not let out, does not exchange, does not fraternize, lives in that agony, in that loneliness. Then this is the hour, this is the moment.

Life passes in an instant. Everybody talks about it - “time goes by so fast!” Morning turns into afternoon, soon it is night and then the day of that existence is gone, that life spent, without having the transformation and the illumination that conducts the salvation of the soul, which still brings in life a happiness, a peace and a love that does not belong to this old world of illusion.

Then you all try to pay attention in what you are saying, in what you are thinking, in what you are feeling, in what your are doing, because life is short before the soul’s eternity.

Here I am my God, my Father, my Lord, begging and asking thy aid, thy help, thy light so I can be worthy of thy mercy that never lacks. This is our begging - that you help us all here so that we can follow, so that we can accomplish our fate as God’s sons, God’s daughters. Thus that each one present here can learn, here, with the Daime, to take off the sandals and to step on the sacred ground just like Moses.

To deny yourself so you can accompany Christ and to stop bothering only about things that have no value. Be able to really elevate yourself. Be able to really transcend the human limit so you can be able to arrive at the spirit’s kingdom, get united with God, get transformed in God and then illuminate, help and prosper, be useful, help a lot, give a lot from yourself to the ones that have less, to the ones that need, even inside your house, even inside your family, where you have your karmic spiritual responsibility of keeping thus a good astral, a vitality, a happiness, a peace, a health that is going to depend a lot from your strength, of your power of holding, without complaining, without whining, without feeling victimized. It will depend a lot on your strength that you have, deep down, but still don’t know, but still doubt, that you don’t yet realize because you stay in the role of victim and the victim is always weak, the victim is always fragile, the victim is always vulnerable and defenseless, only able to stay crying and whining, regretting, raging and complaining with a strong bad mood. This is the victim’s role that you are not, but you can even pretend, but deep down you aren’t.

Look at your karmic responsibilities. Look at what you came here to do in this reincarnation. To whom much was given, much will be asked! At the right time! Demand then from yourself, cheer up, learn to be happy, inside the storm! Learn to have calmness, serenity, inside the shooting! Learn to be oriented, be safe, and be conscious, inside the confusion! Because God does not shake, God does not tremble, God is Light that no darkness manages to extinguish. Kilometers, hundreds of kilometers of darkness can’t extinguish centimeters of light.

The love that is true survives to all of the hatreds. The happiness that is worthy legitimates and authenticates, crosses all the sadness and irritations. Therefore my brother and sisters, let’s… how do we say? Give up of the old footwear, because it is better to walk barefoot in the desert sand than remain carrying this backpack of stones that makes the person tumble all the time and that many times also pull who is coming along. Learn to detach. Be honest, be sincere with yourself. Try to identify what you still bear, that you still carry that weight, that takes away your agility, that takes away your quickness, that takes away your response time and makes you slow, makes you floppy and makes you back away at the time in which is necessary you to react!

Because the wick is not lit, because the flame isn't lit and does not stay lit, by the faith, by the prayer, by the spiritual practices, by the readings, by the good works, by the charity, by the teeny victories against yourself, that load of things that you were going to say and stood quiet. Very good! It wasn’t anything so big neither so important but, it was worthy! You saved something; you didn’t increase even more the bill, which is already so high.

That smile, that attitude of kindness, that spirit of sacrifice, that moment that you tolerated, that you had patience, that other moment that you opted for being true, for being faithful to what you believes. Nothing of that was so important but they are small victories that go taking us to the goal, mostly if they are… how do we say? Conserved, and then the person gets more excited and starts to gain more terrain within him (her) self, more terrain in their own actions, in their own words. One had everything to be bad, but he (she) was good! One had everything to demand, to complain, and he (she) gave even more! Then he (she) said - oh my God, now is that I am understanding Jesus Christ.

Saint John says “If you are asked to walk a mile, you walk a mile and a half” – ah…
I never quite understood this; now that I am having the experience is that I can understand it thoroughly. It helps me to love God of all my understanding, it helps me to love God of all my heart, and it helps me to love God of all my soul. They asked me for the purse and I gave it altogether with the coating.

Instead of becoming poor I received much more than a purse and a coating. What is it, a purse and a coating before the eternity, before the infinite, before the salvation of my soul? Gone are the rings but at least stay the functioning fingers that act, that build, that helps, that becomes united in an attitude of prayer, feeling much better; feeling much better without all of these rings that were only weighing and feeding vanities, prides, ownership feelings and material power. Way better to walk barefoot! Freer and more efficient in God’s service.

Then I think that this is the time, this is the moment, of the awakening, to wake up, the hour of the victory, the hour to overcome the limits, to transcend, to go beyond in your capacity of loving, in your capacity of waiting for, in your capacity of being faithful. You already suffered so much, and if you do not change there is still so much to suffer. It isn’t possible that on taking Daime you are not going to wake up, for your own being's dignity.

When you do realize about the dignity of your own Being you are going to stop lowering yourself, you are going to stop degrading yourself, you are going to stop corrupting yourself, you are going to stop lying, you are going to stop addicting yourself, you are going to stop talking bad about other’s lives. How many things that you can stop doing if you become conscious of the dignity of your being, the dignity of your mission and the dignity of your life that God gave and never ceases to give.

It is just that you looks but you don’t see, you tries to listen but you don’t listen, you tries to know but you get tangled, forgets, get distracted, you still don’t believe in yourself, in what you are, deep down. You still treat yourself like you were treated by your family, by the society. You still have in a way some despise regarding yourself, still does not accept yourself and thinks that you have no value, that you aren’t worthwhile. You go living this way just the enough to keep on going.

The majority still didn’t get there, where you, deep down, are raised by God in your purity and in your essence.

“I am not God but I have a hope, I am not God but I am his likeness”

Can’t you understand something? You can even do, but to really believe to the point of proving in the actions, in the treatment in between each other, then you open a breach, then you let it in, you allow yourself to be taken, you allow yourself to be possessed to repent later on, and then you forget and start it all over again. You are living the vicious circle, the vicious circle of the Karma. The soul’s arrester in the flesh. In the weak flesh!

Awake then, soul. Let God illuminate your conscience. It is through the knowledge that you are going to liberate yourself from everything that is still whipping you, of everything that is still devastating you, of everything that is still taking you away from God, making you lose your precious little time of life. Who has much time of life? Nobody. What is 70 years, 80 years, 90 years, and 120 years? A second, a minute, a rain drop, a drop.

With the passing time the path gets narrow, and what determines the path to get narrow, to get nailed down, although the path belongs to something of the space, but what determines such thing is the time, not the space. Time is what makes the path to get narrow and the soul has then to get thinner to pass through. Loaded with all these things it will not pass. It stays still, it bogs, it balks, does not manage to pass because the path goes narrowing more and more.

Don’t you realize this happening in your life? Look at your life, look at your days, and look at your intimacy. Don’t you realize that there is something narrowing itself? Soliciting from you thus some dedication so that you can actually adapt in order to pass through and get where you want? Look at the time. Time is passing by. The years go by quickly and the cicada sings and the ant works. There are some that suffer, there are some that work. There are some people that build their houses in the sand of illusion and there are some people that seek to build their houses in the rock of the live faith and in the good works. There are all kinds of things. Then you have to see which one is your thing. Which is the whistle that you are going to blow, there, in the universal orchestra? One has to decide. It is necessary that you define yourself because time is ticking, life goes passing by quickly and nobody knows the day of tomorrow.

Therefore ask to God for your consolation, your instructions. Ask to God for your disciplines. Beg to God for your treatments. You need to treat yourself, so you can stop being sick in some things. Do your homework while you are at school because after you leave the school of life and cross the death’s gate, then you don’t have more time. You only have to hand over the test, receive the grade and that’s it. Then it is defined, decided where you are going to live, in eternity.

From hell till heaven there are thousands of graduations, thousands of levels, thousands of spheres, thousands of spiritual plans in the eternal life. Then this is all very important for you. Not you that are eating only rice and beans, watching television, working, earning money, spending money, paying bills, all of this, no! This one is transitory, this one didn’t exist before and neither will it exist after. This one is just for the time being, including even the name that you have, it will only count now, for this life.

Now you are much more then that! Did you already realize it? Did you ever took Daime this way and saw your several dimensions? That goes far beyond your personality, which goes far beyond your ego, which goes far beyond, at this point, from your present? Then you seek my friend, my brothers and sisters, my fellow humans. Seek with love, seek with intelligence, uses your intelligence, your sentience to be able to realize, to be able to go beyond, at this time here and now, asking to God for an understanding, asking to God for a comprehension, a cure, a liberation.

The soul needs to get humble before God - Oh, my God! I am tired of suffering, help me! The soul needs to have this communion act, prayer, to be actually able to get connected, to be actually able to receive what it needs so much! But if the heart is closed, if the mind is asleep, if the mouth is quiet, if one’s arms are crossed… ouch!

But if the heart opens, if the mind awakes, if the mouth ‘talks’ a request, if the hands stay with their palms up in a posture, in an attitude in the relation with God, certainly some things happen, an improvement occurs. But it is necessary this inner action, today, tomorrow, next week, all the time so that in this way a connection can be actually established, a link, so that the spiritual resources come of the sky and help that soul, there, to come out of the inner cave and step on the field of light to work and sow, to water and harvest, deliver the harvest to the owner of the harvest, to the owner of the field, serving to God, accomplishing God’s wish and thus growing, thus developing oneself and thus increasing your kindness, developing your generosity and your capacity of being solidary, starting then to be an instrument of God’s mercy.

This is the destiny of who takes Daime and tries to accompany the Master. It is to be a vehicle of the divine force; to have so you can give. To have love, to have light, to have knowledge, to have energy, to have strength that is acquired through work, through the purifications, the prayers, the readings, the practices, the charity. To never deny anything to anybody. To never say no. Look at your challenge, right there! To never say no. Whenever some one asks, from one way or another, you help in one way or another. You are never going to deny.

Do you think that this is not happening already? This denial? Look at the world! Look at the “peia” everywhere! That comes exactly because of this; by the lack solidarity, by the selfishness’ empire, by the lack of kindness, by this damned cruel law, this whole thing of wolves eating wolves, wickedness and violence, selfishness and cruelty, then it is tears and the creak of teeth.

Now, the one that says blessed of you, come to me, seat by my right, because I was hungry and you divided the bread, you stopped to drink water to be able to satiate my thirst, you even felt some cold because the coat you had you managed to share with me - Let’s go, let’s now be happy for the eternal life!

It is written in the Holy Scriptures. It was already accomplished, it has being accomplished and it will be accomplished. It is then very important that everyone looks at yourself and see! What you are doing without reasoning, without judging. Just see with sincerity, see with honesty; your acts, your thoughts, your words, your attitudes. Seeks the carefulness, seeks the improvement. To err is human, but humane is to try and correct yourself, moved by the wish of not wanting to be like that anymore! Already moved thus by a certain dissatisfaction regarding yourself; being discontent with yourself; because you are not being what you are, deep down. You are altered, polluted, corrupted, and defective, contaminated, infected by the negative, lacking to be what you truly are, deep down. Good, pure, generous, humble, simple, patient.

You cease on being all this good to start being transformed in something that, also, deep down, you are not. Bad, false, lazy, and so many others; aggressive, violent, floppy, you don’t move, don’t make it happen, don’t carry on, don’t move forward, but just the opposite; locks yourself down. Do you think that deep down this is what you are? Do you think that deep down you were created this way by God? By chance? Or do you make part of the Divine Creation where everything is perfect, where everything is good, where everything is positive? Where? Where is it then? Seek, deepens yourself, do not settle for these superficial layers, dig! You are not finding anything?! Dig deeper. You are only finding rocks; break the stone! You are only finding mud; crosses the mud! That in a few you are going to arrive there, where it is only love, where it is only light, where it is only kindness, where it is only divine. But for this you have to arrive at the center of the earth, at the center of yourself, through the expansion of the conscience, through the knowledge, through the purification, through the prayers, of the prayers and of the readings, of the spiritual work of decantation; the work of one entire life.

Then remember God. If you can remember God He’s going to remember who, deep down, you are! If you always remember God He is going to take you
away from your nightmares. Seek the remembrance of God as a life companion; God’s remembrance as a sentry; God’s memory as a candle in the altar.

Right now you can make a pact. Aren’t there people that makes pact with the devil? Don’t you see in the television, in the newspaper, in life, the governments, in politics, everybody that sells themselves to Satan to have gold? To be able to have power, to have money, to have pleasure?

On making a pact with the devil they corrupt themselves until the bottom. Makes a pact with God instead; commits, pledges, promises to accomplish. What do you want from me? What I want from You my Lord is my holy life. What I want from You my Lord is your protection for me to not fall. What I want from You my Lord is this divine memory to protect me from the forgetfulness that defeats me. What I want from You my Lord is for me to be faithful.

What do you want from me? What is my part in this pact with God? What do I have to give? What do I have to do? What kind of person do I have to pledge on being? Then you meditates a little bit because in your mind arrives the answers for this questions.

What God wants from you, to be able to make a union, a protection, an illumination pact, is already arriving, is already arriving. Some are already listening. It is arriving the thought of what the person needs to do to be comfortable, there, with the eternal, with the infinite, to get straight with the divine justice.

God can not even speak to you through words, but He’s going to show scenes of your life that are arriving in your mind, now, at this exact moment. Scenes of your life are coming, which are the battlefields, inside your house, outside your house, because then you needs, and then God is going to tell you what has to be done.

God isn't your imagination. God, the Father; God, the son; God, the Holy Ghost has the power of showing you scenes of your personal life, that for you to be united, in this pact with God, is necessary to see.

See through your own spiritual eyes. Open your heart, humble yourself, and does not think that you already know of everything; no, humble yourself. Maybe some things you don't really know yet and God is showing you, now, at this exact moment. Scenes of your life that are your battlefields; the things that you need to develop in yourself, improve, progress, don’t you see? Then you thank God and ask for strength.

Perceive that God knows you entirely. God knows everything that is happening with you. God knows everything that you need. God knows everything that you are mistakenly doing. Be conscious now of God’s presence in you, knowing of everything. The Eye that sees everything inside the triangle, since the time of the masons, since the time of the Egyptian! Omniscient god, looking at you at this moment and showing you scenes of your life, happenings that are your testing field, where you are being proved, where you are being tried, many times merit tests. You are about to receive such a good thing, you are about to go to a much more positive stage, but you has to pass the test to see if you are really firmed in your faith or if you are still vacillating, or still faking, or if you are mocking. There is of everything, everything can be done, looks at the free will, right there!

Then seizes this moment to see scenes of your life that God is showing you now, in the name of the Father, of the Son and of the Holy ghost, as a word of advice, as a warning, as a cautionary word, as a kind of consultation in which the doctor is talking.

You need to take such medicine; your lung is that way; looks here at the lung’s x-ray! Looks here the endoscope! Looks here at the magnetic resonance, and looks here at the results of your exam. Then you are a little sick; you are a little bit unbalanced; you need to take some vitamins of some kinds of love to God, of some fidelities to God, of some knowledge’s of God, of some God’s kindnesses that needs to be acquired by you, for you to combat these microbes, these virus that are infecting you on a daily basis, that are eating away your soul without you realizing it. It is here then, the results of the exam - Look at your blood, how many things you carry inside your blood. Do you see? And it isn’t cholesterol, no, they are invisible things, but that are circulating, there, within you, that you acquired, that you allowed yourself to be contaminated, that you let grow within you without launching the antibodies to be able to destroy the bacteria. To the contrary, you fed the bacteria. Now you are in the fever, in the love fever, in the despair fever, in the insecurity fever, you are in the several kinds of fever, you are in the vice fever, you are in the violence fever, in the greed fever, you are in the fever thus of the mutism, you are in the fever of the discouragement. Look how many fevers these invisible bacteria’s provoke in the spiritual organism; do you see? Look at the result of your exams; look here at the x-ray… do you see the stains? Do you see the Nodes?

It is here then the medicine. The medicine is this one. The medicine is bitter. The medicine is strong. The medicine provokes reaction. It is then in your hands the glass and the spoon, the pill, the prescription. Everything is with you now, so you can start your treatment to stop being this way. “To be eternally careful in order to never be bad”.

This is the word of the Doctor Daime. Doctor, healer, of the souls, of the spirits, of the beings, for you that really wants to get rid! Takes purgative for you then to expel what you have been carrying with you. Are you aware of it? Are you aware of what it is? Or you are going to play dumb, or you are going to play silly, or you are going to play deaf to be able to stay the same way? It is with you now. It is your karmic moment.
