Peace
desires and fears
I made a comment in a email to a new friend;Finding out of our personal divinity is the greatest awakening a person
can recieve.To be able to allow all that we are to manifest beyond our
fears and desires is a beautiful thing.
She commented;
Do you have any suggestions on "manifesting more of who i am beyond my fears and desire"?
My first thought is not think on who I am but to remember who I am not.
I am not this body or this mind.I am not the chariot or the driver,I am the watcher.Fears and desires are a part of the body and the mind,so I guess the first thing I would do is to detach myself from these by remembering that "i" am a outside observer to what this body and mind does. The fears and desires are brought about by experiences that my body has undergone and conceptions and perceptions that my mind retains. By living in the present and not the past or the future I can begin to allow my self to experience my true essence.
Acceptance
I look at the way I react to the different events in my life,and I see that acceptance is a growing part of the way I process everything.Whether it has to do with my health or current employment situation,my desires and my attachments. I do what I can to change things but I dont get hung on the outcome. I continue to battle with my insides as my outside appears to be growing and projecting a healthy existance.Ironic duality,it is a funny situation and it continues to be a daily reminder of the impermanence of this body and this individual identity.My plans are to create a better happier life, and the way to do this to avoid suffering.Physically and mentally I suffer daily.Daily I refer back to the practices that release me from this suffering,via healthy alternative lifestyle and spiritual practice. I remember to add the things that give me gratification on an immediate level as well as following my knowledge that this cannot bring eternal joy or peace.The ebb and flow of conscious living.The presence to feel when I am drifting in my mind,and the ability of bringing it back gently to the truth of it all. This is a transitional period in my life and I feel I am fighting the truth at times.My conceeding of the loss of the old habits, and the accepting of the new truths. An interesting view I am getting of how I am living acceptance.
my plans and small diatribe
I am about to make my purpose or my perceived purpose known here. I feel like a I am drawn to open a wholistic health center. A place where people can go to help them in finding their purpose and supporting that goal. This place will involve a lot of different aspects ,such as;raw food cafe
yoga
herbal application
massage
non alcohol bar,for a place to go and be,without the booze
tea
meeting hall,rented out and used for bringing in guest speakers.
nutrition and diet
Begin small diatribe
And the most important element is a donated time allocated of all involved, to giving ,I repeat GIVING these opportunities to lower income and rehabers,convicts and those of the masses, who generally dont have the means to getting the information or tools to bring about the change I have seen these types of activities can produce. I am sick and tired of not being able to afford the the "gifts" of the universe, and i am sure others see it the same way,and even more are ignorant of the way at that is something i can no longer live with. Just beacuse I dont have money i am kept from the secrets and means to grow. i laugh in the general direction of those teachers and point with a designated finger.
Shame ! We all could benefit from GIVING a piece of the truth away. Not have the first things out of our mouths be,"well I get a hundred dollars a hour for information that can help you, and change your life for the better". "F"- that. Just because people cannot afford to pay to find God ,does not mean the are undeserving;>sarcasm. I do not wish to be a man with riches only an man with an enriched existence, I will probably not change the world but I can change mine. I realize that these avenues are a way to have a job and a income and a good feeling about myself, and i see a way that ALL can benefit. When we change the minds and lives of all people ,then we become and live in the idealistic place we envision. Otherwise only the one with the monetary means to attain the knowledge will have it ,and the "ordinary" folk , which make up the majority, will keep on being left out. So in order for me to fulfill my purpose i will have to make a way for them,as many as possible, to get the information and the tools to better their lives.
Big order. Well the universe, or God, or the Divine has it set up so I am confident that this is is my true purpose , the way will fall into place. As well as the people to make it all happen.
My first step is this year to heal myself,as well as set the ball in motion for getting the tools I need to progress in my life as well as the way to achieve my goals.
So I am going about meeting people and learning what it is we all are trying to do here.

Prajñaparamita Hrdaya Sutra
Avalokitesvara Bodhisattva, while meditating deeply in the Prajñaparamita,
clearly perceived that all five skandhas are equally empty.
After this penetration, he overcame all suffering.
"Listen, Shariputra, form does not differ from emptiness,
emptiness does not differ from form.
Form is emptiness, emptiness is form.
The same thing is true with feelings, perception,
mental functioning, and consciousness.
"Here, Shariputra, all dharmas are marked with emptiness;
they are neither produced nor destroyed;
neither stained nor pure,
neither increasing nor decreasing.
"Therefore, in emptiness there is neither form,
nor feeling, nor perception, nor mental functioning, nor consciousness;
no eye, no ear, no nose, no tongue, no body, no mind;
no form, no sound, no smell, no taste, no touchable, no object of mind;
no realm of eyes, and so forth until no realm of mind consciousness.
"No ignorance and also no extinction of ignorance,
no old age and death, and so forth until no extinction of old age and death.
"No suffering, no origination of suffering,
no extinction of suffering, and no path.
No wisdom and also no attainment.
"With nothing to attain, the bodhisattva,
relies on Prajñaparamita, has no hindrance in his mind.
Without any hindrance in his mind, there is no fear.
Liberating himself forever from illusion and dream.
Realizing perfect Nirvana.
"All Buddhas in the past, present, and future,
rely on Prajñaparamita, attain Anuttara Samyak Sambodhi.
"Therefore, one should know that Prajñaparamita
is the great sacred mantra,
is the great bright mantra,
is the supreme mantra,
is the unequaled mantra,
that can liberate all suffering.
Truly indeed.
A mantra of Prajñaparamita should therefore be proclaimed:
Tadyatha Om Gate, gate, paragate, parasamgate, bodhi svaha.
Prajñaparamita mantra
Gate gate paragate parasamgate bodhi svaha"Gone, gone, gone beyond, gone utterly beyond, Enlightenment hail!"

Nagarjuna
"I am not, I will not be.I have not, I will not have."
That frightens all the childish
And extinguishes fear in the wise.

Patanajalis Raja Yoga
[from Discourse II: "Sadhana Pada- On Spiritual Disciplines"]II.18. PRAKASA-KRIYA-STHITI-SILAM BHUTENDRIYAT-MAKAM
BHOGAPAVARGARTHAM DRSYAM.
'The universe, which is experienced through the interaction between the
elements and the perceptions of the sense organs, is composed of
sattwa,
rajas, and tamas, and exists solely for the purpose of (man's)
experience
and liberation'.
Commentary:
As has been explained, 'Purusha' is absolute and without
qualities.
However, man sees not the divine, but 'Prakriti', or nature, and its
three
gunas, or qualities. These are sattwa, purity; rajas, activity and
tamas,
inertia. Though his senses he perceives and interprets nature and it's
elements. In life he gains experience in the realm of 'Prakriti' until
he
finally realizes that the qualities are nothing but his interpretation
of
Reality, and that in Truth, he is one with all. The purpose of life is
to
work through this physical plane, using its conditions to clear away
Karma. Through constant purification and balancing of mind, sattwa,
rajas
and tamas are brought into equilibrium, and man returns to the Source
that
is beyond the manifest world.
