My Blog

Lack of "cool" in Jacksonville.
I have lived here pretty much my whole life. I once found it to be a pretty exciting place. There were clubs for everyone here. There were places to go to just be you and not care what others may think. There was a part of town where the "artists" of all kind would congregate. Over the past five years so much has changed. Most clubs have been shut down. Most places to hang out have conformed to big business. When did this place grow into conformity? I do not understand how so much can change... read more
