about me
I have pursued my interest in music for most of my life. I have been concentrating on Medieval and Renaissance music since 1996 and have expressed an interest in Middle Eastern music during the past four years or so. I am an avid figure skater, and sometimes enjoy archery. I have been a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism since 1998 and perform at a few Renaissance faires each year. I have been a nudist since c. 1988.

The CBC has a new tv show in which former female figure skaters are matched with a male hockey player for an ice dancing competition. See www.cbc.ca/battle/ and www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php more information. I have watched a bit of this show. I don't care for the theatrical lighting but was amused to see that one of the men wore hockey skates during the competition.

Among its condemnations were objections to the sales of indulgences and a challenge to Church’s doctrine regarding individual salvation. His efforts spurred the growth of the Protestant Reformation and he was excommunicated ... read more
