Okay, I want her ... as a dance partner! Belilah is soooo much fun. A slightly (remember I said "slightly") younger version of me. Someone even told her they thought we were sisters at the Renn Faire!!!!!!! She sews, she laughs, she has a great butt to grab hold of -- what more can ya ask for? I can't wait to share our Gothy selves and figure out how to meld ... dancing isn't deep enough for what I want to do with this woman! Watch out --- she's mine! ALL MINE!!!!! MWAHAHAHAHAHAHA!

There are those who are all too rare in this world, and you are reading a testimonial to one such person.
Little more than a stranger was I. Another of the artists on tribe, one of many. Mad as a hatter as well, as are most artists.
I use paint, pencil, and any other medium that I can get my hands on. This is common to me, and sometimes comes with unnatural ease.
My art can amaze others, as they do not see the tedious process that births such things.
Belilah, has worked devilishly hard for her art, the work and endurance likely seen by few, if any. This skill, her ability to use dance as a medium, is not well known to me, which makes her art a wonderment to beings like myself, it is a creature that is beyond me, and therefore all the more amazing.
What draws me to write about a woman such as Belilah? Oddly enough, not her skills with dance, but rather her kindness to those whom she barely knows, her ability to read a simple blog, at light speed, no less and her impetus to respond to one in need.
I am sure many will comment on her abilities as a dancer, but I choose to address that which is less tangible, but no less beautiful. A rare thing in this world is one who has the gift of empathy, and one who can then use that gift to reach out and impart their awareness to another.
That in itself is a great skill, and a rare one.
Here I have seen such a an empathic talent and deemed it more than worth commenting on. May she always find such kindness from others, may she never know the lonelines of isolation .
Belilah, may you find, as the song says, that “all the love you have given, has all been meant for you.”

Talented, creative, funny, interesting, and brave. I have seen her put together a moving solo piece the DAY of the performance because she was given less than 12 hours notice that she was needed to perform.
Amazing woman!
She also taught me a wonderful trick in balancing a sword. I shared it with my teacher. We both agree that you are very smart to have come up with such a good idea.
Duck diaper pin. Now I have one too. After all, Belilah says they are very important!
