Tax season is done and my income is going to slow waaaaay down, so I'm taking the time I have to get some things done.

First: I've started a new blog site that I'm hoping will generate some income. It's www.belilah.com - I've owned the domain for a while, but haven't done much with it. It's still being tweaked. I'm going to use it to write about the things that interest me including and beyond bellydance. If you get the chance, check it out every once in a while - I'm going to try to put some informative "articles" up about all kinds of things.

Second: I'm going to revamp www.belilahonline.com - it's time for a color scheme change and I need to come up with a new graphic. Sean's going to help me with some of the programming changes - I did it all by hand several years ago and now there are new tools I can use to streamline it and make it easier to update. I'm also going to finally get around to adding the vests and panel skirts as well as a line of 100% cotton items. Shipping costs will need to be updated for the USPS price increase in May. I'm trying to keep from increasing my prices because I really want things to stay as affordable as possible but I have to keep the business self-sustaining and a dollar or two will probably go a long way to keeping me afloat.

Third: I will sew for a couple hours every day I'm off work. I cleaned up my sewing room and sorted fabric. All the oddball stuff (I have some cool Alexander Henry fabric) will be made into something and put on Etsy, here on Tribe and (hopefully) on my site.

Fourth: I will look for more vending and advertising opportunities.

I can travel a good bit in the southeast.
