The International Day of Dance is Saturday, October 24th from 1:00-4:00pm. It’s at Western Iowa Technical College, 4647 Stone Avenue Sioux City, Iowa. Use parking lot 4, entrance 14. We will be at the door, and the room number is D103.

The Desert Angels Belly Dancers will perform five times at the Sioux City Renaissance Festival. All performances are at the WITCC Ancient Oaks Master's Stage. Riverssance is October 3rd and 4th at Riverside Park.

The Desert Angels belly dance troupe is getting ready for their annual performance at the Sioux City Renaissance Festival! Riverssance is October 3rd and 4th at Riverside Park. Be prepared to watch large group dances, a cane duo, veil dances, and routine with tambourines and skirts!

Don't forget to tie knots frequently, and I highly recommend using a bead spinner. (I made two costumes completely covered with beads and sequins before I even saw a bead spinner.)

Don't use 5 mm sequins. They're too tiny, and they'll drive you crazy. I used that size for 3 sets, and then I discovered 8mm sequins! 8 mm is so much better.
