Yadda, Yadda, Yadda...

On Saturday, February 27th, at 12:30-2:30 pm there will be a Beginner Tribal Belly Dance Workshop. The class is going to be taught by Laurie Rogers from Liquid Hip Therapy. Laurie has been teaching belly dance and performing in Sioux Falls, SD since 2006. She is a knowledgeable teacher and a skilled performer.

The class will at the Yoga College, 522 Nebraska Street, Sioux City, IA. The cost is $25.

The International Day of Dance is Saturday, October 24th from 1:00-4:00pm. It’s at Western Iowa Technical College, 4647 Stone Avenue Sioux City, Iowa. Use parking lot 4, entrance 14. We will be at the door, and the room number is D103.

The Desert Angels Belly Dancers will perform five times at the Sioux City Renaissance Festival. All performances are at the WITCC Ancient Oaks Master's Stage. Riverssance is October 3rd and 4th at Riverside Park.

Saturday performances: 10:20, 2:00, and 4:00
Sunday performances: 10:15 and 2:00

The Desert Angels belly dance troupe is getting ready for their annual performance at the Sioux City Renaissance Festival! Riverssance is October 3rd and 4th at Riverside Park. Be prepared to watch large group dances, a cane duo, veil dances, and routine with tambourines and skirts!

Thanks for the Answers (in Belly Dancing - the Shira.net Tribe) Thank you for your input, everyone! I could see Steampunk (or any of the other above mentioned fusion-thingies) performed at a Halloween or theme show, but it would be unusual to see the performances elsewhere.

If it is, that's how I look in my everyday life, but I still do the regular moves, wear the predictable costumes, and use Middle Eastern music.
