Strange filking talkative friendly database becoming a spreadsheet; are you?

...Hi there! I'm looking for friends who throw themselves into their interests - which is why I'm not a vucanologist! :) A bad sense of humor helps, too. I've done, been and learned many odd things (and lived with a few of them!), including medical ranging from the brain, immune system and much of "the workin' parts" (Firefly quote, Tracy in "The Message"); blacksmithing and more modern metal arts; guitar, voice and tiny etc.s; psychology (backwards); science fiction books, shows and "filk" music; swimming; handcrafting; and so on.
...I don't like confrontation (though new data, to give me a different view is Quite welcome), competion, and I do need a little gentleness now (I didn't learn all that medical and psych because I WANTED to), but fun, jokes, laughter, games, and an open mind - and if you live close enough to Berkeley/Oakland, and want do a no-cover open mike night at The Starry Plough...
