about me
I am a open person that loves to meet other people like or not like me. I do Home Hemo Dialysis six days a week for eight and a half hour treatments. I have twelve years experience of being on dialysis. I also have Crohn's disease, diagnosed November 2006. I have recently started doing Kundalini yoga and really enjoy it. I have a deep love for food and I have to be creative with my meals because of my illness. I really love skateboarding and like to ride pools and longboarding down long mellow hills. I used to rock climb when I was younger. My illness prevents me from enjoying Rock Climbing anymore. That is ok, I still enjoy seeing large cliffs and imagineing climbing them.

Home again....
I am home again. The second day of April I checked back into UCSF. I was in pretty bad shape now. I had lost so much weight by thowing up everything in me, including my internal fluids. I looked extremely bad and my mom thaught I might die. Then to make things worse my mind had gone into a really bad place about the hospital and I didn't want to be there. I got out of the hospital yesterday, monday the 27th of March. Yes, I was back in the hospital after being home for a little more then a week from my surgery. The reason was not linked to my surgery either. I developed serious inflamation of my hips and lower back. So bad I couldn't stand up on Thursday morning. Not to talk all about the hospital, but here goes a bit of it. I may have something that is caused by my Crohn's disease. My immune system seems to be overloaded or something.... read more

Healing
It has been five days since the surgery. My bandage is off and things are at work healing. There is some swelling and I have developed some pain in the upper part of the cut. The surgery went great. Everything went so well that the cut turned out to only be from my elbow to the inside of my armpiy. Instead of running the whole length of my arm. Also when they cut they cut some nerves so for the most part everything is numb from that. The cut is still one of my larger cuts so far. It is hard to type and even harder to see what I am tping. My vision is still blurred from the anasthesia. I am good and at home healing. Thank you everyone for your thoughts ... read more
