yay!!! i haven't been on for a while because for the last week I have been busy moving our house hold items and packing. The new house is wonderful!!!!! I still have lots of room to hoop and spin!! Also im so much closer to both clearwater and st. pete that i hope i will soon be going to the drum cirlces at treasure island as well as the one in clearwater. Also today i finally got my florida license so im legal and ready to drive! FREEDOM!

Sunset Festival

Ok so i have been worked up about going to this festival for a week or two now. i cant wait to see RAbbit in the Moon, ferry corsten, darude, and all of them. i thought i was going to have to buy tickets which are 40$ a piece. But as fate would have it i was meant to go and i WON tickets on the radio!!!!!!!! i have never called in to win anything before. i was just sitting there and thought, i should call in and try to win those tickets, and I DID!!! i mean i always thought that it was pointless to try to call cause you cant get through anyways, i mean what is the point. Well they proved me wrong. its always worth a try. so to end the story i am going to the sunset festival. Woooooohoooooooo

Hula Hooping

Well for 2 weeks straight i have been hooping like an addict. im having so much fun with it and picking up stuff really fast. i can hoop around my knees and shoulders, do a couple of spins, begginer stuff, but hey two weeks ago i couldnt do it at all! i love to hoop its almost like a meditation for me because i can just hoop and not think about anything, or everything if im in the mood. what i really want to get is a psy hoop! Also im trying to incorporate my glowsticks on strings into the hoop moves, it needs some work, but when i get it its going to be HOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

So today we went rafting on the wiki wachi river, expecting a calm float down the river. Then there IT was. a manatee. One of my favorite animals that i had never had the luck to see in person. in april we went snorkeling all day looking for manatees and didnt see one. today i saw 5! Including 2 itsy bitsy babies!!!! My whole day is complete now! I even got to pet one of the manatees. it swam by and started eating grass next to me and just let me pet it. the only sobering experience of the day was when i was petting it and realized that all of the ridges on its back were boat propelor(sp?) cuts from where it had been run over so many times. To see a beautiful gentle creature hurt like that makes me want to cry and beat stupid humans! Still it was an awsome experience that i cant wait to repeat!! diving lessons here i come! wish me well fire hooping tonight!

Rafting!

Well the family and friends are going rafting down the wikki wachi river tommarow and it is going to be a blast! They bought me a new raft today at walmart! its a sea horse that you can ride! its made for kids but im so small that it will be perfect for me its like 4 feet long and 2 and a half feet wide so i will be chillin! see picture of seahorse! And then we are going to a bday party for sparks at white cat's house! i am going to do fire hoop for the very first time! I have been practicing constantly. it is my new passion. i have a new one like every week because i am surrounded by the most amazing people doing the most amazing things and i cant decide what i want to do first. glowsticks are coming along very nicely as well!

This weekend i had a blast in NC with the Cape Sphere people. Despite the many problems it the beggining it turned into a wonderful event. I just want to thank all of the people that made the journey out there, the people that took care of me while i was there, and the people that accepted me as i was and made a new freindship with me. Dawn patrol was the best part. Nothing is crazyier after a night of partying than greeting the sun with your friends by all hugging and singing to the sun as it came over the horizon. and the song was perfect, because it had rained all day saturday, but sunday came up beautiful. come on you guys all know the song. sing it with me!!! I can see clearly now the rain is gone... i can see all obsticals in my way.... ...... its gonna be a bright, bright, bright, bright and sun shiny day!!!!!

Hey Sassy and mayhem are not able to come anymore, and i am flying up. only thing is i need to find someone who could pick me up at the airport. its only 4.56 miles from heavy rotation records. i will be arriving at 10:35 am friday morning. do you know of anyone that could pick me up? all i have is one suitcase and a hammock.

Well yesterday I went to drum class, full of happiness to be back. I climbed up to the porch and talked to the owner, you know see how her week went and everything. and right before I went inside this older lady she was talking to asked me if I had ever though about working in a school. No i replied, because i hadnt. I never even considered how it would be working as a teacher. I had always thought it was a crap job with alot of bullshit going on all the time. But she told me I would be perfect as a teachers assistant, and she was looking for one. I feel that this is a good oppertunity for me I hope. Where else will I be able to dress up fun on holidays and go to school. Be able to go to work and get luch recess, music, art, and gym class? I would be working with emotionally and behaviorally challenged kids. I know that sounds rough but there are only 10 kids in the class and they aren't mentally disabled, they are not the special education class or anything. They are just the kids from foster homes, broken backgrounds, abusive situations, and stuff like that. but I feel that since I went through all of that as well I can relate to the kids. i know what its like. And i remember how when i was that age i just wanted anyone who even seemed like they cared about me. social workers do not make good replacement parents. Beacuse when your in foster care it doesnt matter if its your fault or your parents fault, you are treated as if you are a bad kid. you are put in a place where they put the bad kids, im talking lying, stealing, psyco kids. they do not split group homes into ones for good kids and bad kids, its all the same. I feel as this is really a chance for me to make a difference in someone elses life. Because if it wasnt for those good people out there that cared about me even if my parents didnt that made a difference in my life. they helped me grow, and learn, and make my life what it is. And i may not do it forever, but at least i could give back a little bit.

I had a fantastic time last night at the party and thanks to everyone who made it so special, and expecially Dennis for the letting us party there. You guys really are the best, i couldnt ask for more. Next week is going to be awsome too. Its too bad that they wont let us have it at our origional location but im sure the bamboo forest at the secret location is going to be a blast as well. cant wait to jump on the trampoline and chill in the dome. good times. I just learned to hoola hoop and i cant wait to try it on fire!!! just have to get a little bit better first. Well you guys im out. love and peace.

Ok so I have come to realize that I am a nut for all things glowing and blinking. So today i went out to target and found the coolest things. They have these little mini party lights ( disco balls, strobes, screen lamps, ext) for only $1!!!!!! so needless to say i bought one of each! These will be perfect for my camp as they run on batteries, and are only like 6 inches high so they pack easy too!I was also able to get glow leis and flashing lei braclets! These will be soooo perfect for the beach party (also my godmothers birhtday!) Im doing a grass skirt kind of thing in my camping area. Im also bringing mini tiki lamps!! Yay now all I have to do to get ready is make all of my gifts! So my scedule is decom party this weekend in Florida, then decom party next weekend in NC. All that I hope is that tropical storm chris stays the hell out of town here and there! Maybe if we all collectivley send it out to sea with our wills it will go away.... alright all together now...GO AWAY CHRIS...GO AWAY CHRIS....GO AWAY CHRIS!!!!!!!!!

Today I found out about a decompression party that is taking place in my hometown of Wilmington NC. I knew Id never be able to go. But lo and behold im going!!!!!! Sassy and Mayhem and I are all going to drive up there in two weeks for 3 days!!!!! Its on a secluded Island that can only be gotten to by boat. Tickets are $35 but include your boat ride and food for the weekend, What a deal!!! Also I am going to be able to bring a couple of my friends from around that area! i also cant wait to see all of the people from transformus! I am so happy I dont know what to do with myself. I was told That I have ptd (which is post transformus disorder i am told ; ) I cant belive I get to go to another event so soon. Never went to an event in my life and now two in a month!! LIFE IS GOOD. More Fire Spinning Crazyness here I come!

Isn't it wonderful when you have a good impact on someones life and you didn't even know it? The only bad thing about Transformus is when you come back home and youve changed for the good and the rest of the world hasn't. If only people would be more caring and accepting, if only each person would do one good thing for one other person everyday, what a good world we would be living in. Its OK though! I have decided to boycott the rest of the mean unfeeling corporate world, and live happily with all of the new wonderful friends that I met at transformus. Who knows maybe we can change the world just by example.

Drums

I never thought I would be a person who plays the drums. expecially african drums. A year ago if you told me that I would be interested in them, and Poi, and other things that I recently discovered I wouldnt have believed you. I used to be so much more of a close minded person before I moved in with my burn family. They have taught me a new way of life, and I love it. I have never felt so loved, and cared about, and happy as now with my florida fire family. I guess its not the family you have that matters its the family that you build around yourself. Im not in contact with a single blood-relitive(yay) and i couldnt be happier. No Im serious I have absolutley no complaints about my current life, none, I am so glad this is the path my life has taken!

I just moved in with my godmother and her boyfriend about 4 and a half months ago... and I have never met such cool people in the world. Not only are they kind, tolerent of my crazy behavior, and loving, but they party, play with fire, know all the right people, and go to the best parties. I mean what other nineteen year old girl would rather go with her god parents, than with her friends on Saturday night. But I just happen to be that crazy girl. There parties and friends are insane, way cooler than any frat party, or rave, or concert I could possibly go to with my friends. And the fact that I am ALLOWED to play with fire? I enjoy more freedom than I could ever ask for, and they are teaching me the art of partying and getting my work done too! There is only one word for these people. Awsome.
