I am spiritually wed to the most wonderful woman on the planet, and together we are working hard to raise our daughter together, and hoping that the universe will align itself just right, so we can have another one.

Yep, its payment for torture.
I am now in PT and off my crutches. Doctor says no dancing yet.. PT says I can push a little bit, but not much.
I am allowed to move a bit and can walk as my body will let me.
This means a lot more show watching and dancing in my head.
So..... I will be watching.

Surgery was good. He repaired it rather than removing it. This does mean a bit more down time and at the moment my leg is trapped in a giant black metal and foam contrapon of doom!
I'm not allowed to walk around for another week and a half.. and am well.. a wreck about that.
I came out of surgery with FLYING colors and was babbling about and feeling pretty perky... At least until 430 in the morning... and then I felt like I got smacked by a Mack Truck!

Fajera is a most awesome lady. She has helped me recently with cutting through some crapola stuff and reminding me it's about bellydancing for myself, not anyone else that matters. And having fun, dammit! Heee! :)

2 years ago when I started bellydance I had no inkling of what lie ahead. I found another soul as obsessed as I and wanting to put her head together with mine to create some really fun and off the wall adventures.
She like a sister, the kind of person I can talk to about all sorts of things because pretty much nothing I fess up to surprises her (or at least she's good at not letting on that it does).
And while we might get off on ADD tangents, there is no one I'd rather do that with.

Fajera. I don't even remember when we started talking. Only it seemed like we'd been talking forever. And of course, then came the small world connexions (You know WHO? You did WHAT? Me too!). What a trippy lil' dance/ faire/ SCA/ alternative world we live in.
So all the stars have aligned and the planets have started dancing and the cards are all coming up the right way and she has been there for me in some very tough spots. Beautiful smile, beautiful eyes, beautiful soul. And she can dance, oh yeah. My black hat sister. You rock, Henri. Can't wait to share more creation with you.

From the moment I met Fajera, she struck me as one of the nicest people in my sphere of interaction. Since then, she has been nothing but warm, friendly, and considerate. In less than a month, her kind actions have already made me feel like we have a mutual support in place. Plus, she's supercute. Just lookit that smile!
