You are not connected to FatFinger
want to grow your network?

Have you ever been at a party, and just as you were thinking about the possibility of leaving, you hear the music change, and you think: Hmm, that sounds interesting. So you move closer and before you know it you are dancing again, and then it's three hours later and you are drenched in sweat, bleary eyed, with a big satisfied smile on your face and you think to yourself again: Holy fuck! Who was that DJ and what just happened?! That my friend, was FatFinger and he just kicked your ass!!!!
Thank you Travis (and beautiful Eva!), for invading Los Angeles. OXOX, Johnnyboy, Joyboy May 4, 2005
Orale! Dedo Gorgo is El Jefe, just look at his God-like (fat) finger on the turntables. I think it is growing as his djing and producing progress,. . .or, if it isn't the finger, I know he is definitely growing as a dj and producer. On the tables he has been pushing his mixing to a higher and more progressive level, and on the producing side, I only wish I had pressed vinyl of his last remix. Onto the scene, after working the dance floor on stage as a dj, he often invites everyone to his home to keep rockin' past dawn. . .and then there's Travis. . .who, along with being a genuinely good person, is not a bad chef, positive, down for his lady, inteligente, can get shit done, has a PHAT SOUND SYSTEM, is a good friend, and has energy that is good to be around.
Anyway we need to rock the next party with a progressive one-zees, two-zees, three-zees, cuatrozees, etc. dj set. MXR, Pepe Josecito January 26, 2005
Travis aka FatFinger is an edible, super-intelligent guy. He's an a-typical American with vast horizons, political passions and an open mind. And the man can spin on top of it all! Really fucking cool energy. SO happy I know him. For God's sake check out Cat's Cradle & you'll know what I mean.

FatFinger is awsome!!! Such a unique friend and lover! His magic music seduces me and heals my world. But watch out for his big toe!!!
La Niña
It's hot in LA! At least compared to the global warming-adjusted winter of Buenos Aires, which was positively pleasant with crispy midday 60s.

My Princess Blue Sugar and I are just back from two weeks in Argentina. It was a beautiful visit punctuated by relaxing walks in the capital's byways, and lazy spells in the cafe, the vibe abruptly chilled by the crushing defeat on penalty kicks to the World Cup host, Germany. Too many bifes, empanadas and pastas frescas to mention. And oh, th... read more
That was indeed a whirlwind of fun this fine weekend in los angeles. I was feeling pretty good to start things up when Argentina began it's 6-0 blowout of Serbia-Montenegro soon after California's sunup on friday. Hot to be sure, but that puts you in the summer mood.

To say that Singapore is a modern cosmopolitan thriving city-state is, perhaps, obvious, but insufficient to do justice to this uber-organized funstop. Singapore is so developed and so open to the world's cultures that is puts to shame most every other city in the new world.

After many weeks all over SE Asia, it is indeed a great pleasure to hop into a Singaporean airport taxi and ride stress free on perfect roads to the rythmic beep of an untainted taximeter. Not to mention the charming... read more
After our breakneck pace for the first 4 weeks of our journey -- we never spent more than 4 days in a single place, and more often it was 2 or 3 -- we were ready to slow it down a little in Malaysia. So we took four long days on the island of Penang, in the Malacca strait just off the northern west coast.

Though it is an islamic state, the bluehead and I were delighted to find that Malaysia is something of a cultural and ethnic melting pot, and had the first impression of a tolerant mixed society. The cuisine is a testament to that, as flavors from India, China, Thailand and the indigenous Orang Asli come together in tangy spicy harmony. Walking down the streets -- or more likely, through the air-conditioned cavernous malls -- you see a hodepodge of styles, from modern if conservative wester...

We have a box of lost and found that lives at white moon dreams. Joyboy was recently re-united with an article. I'll look for a black sweater when I'm there setting up tonight.
