I'm on vacation, but while I'm going to through workshops and seminars my boss called me to tell me I've been laid off. So much for enjoying my vacations. Meanwhile I opened a Facebook account. I'm looking forward to meet new people and new readers for my reviews.

This is so silly! I'm not able to make my veils, either silk or chiffon, smell nice. I just cannot.

It all started when taking a veil workshop. Another girl lent me her veil (a wonderful silk one) because my veil seemed to be too heavy to do one of those veil tricks. BTW, later I found out I was the problem because I can do that trick now no matter the fabric's weight. But I digress... When that veil got close to my nose the wonderful flowery smell struck me. I realized that recently. If a CD or a song is not at my computer it doesn't exist anymore :-) It sounds weird but I realized that I got a pretty large CD collection some of them I don't remember I've bought just because I forgot to rip them into my computer. I kind of feel that everything is changing so fast that even something as listening to music it's not the same anymore.

I've tried to use the request feature but it didn't work. So I thought I better use a blog entry to ask if somebody is able to transcribe for me this CD title and the track titles. I bought this CD just because I recognized Fairuz on the cover. But I've no idea what it's written since I don't read (or even speak) any Arabic. BTW, this is one of my favorite CDs. I think Fairuz is just wonderful...

No matter what, butterfly tops are just plain ugly. Why they're so popular is beyond me. Just imagine my surprise when I saw Louchia, a really good dancer, wearing a butterfly top inspired costume (you know not the butterfly top forcibly matched to a coin hipscarf baby dancers wear to student's shows). This costume isn't that old as to say that she wore it when the butterfly top trend started. It was featured in one of Jillina's recent DVDs, the shape up one. What did possess her to commision...
