Amira/Anne is one of the most knowledgeable dancers I have ever met. From Raks Sharqi to Raks Shaabi to Algerian Scarf Dances to Flamenco and Tango Fusion pieces (oh, and you should see her double veil!), Amira knows them all.

Her group/troupe choreographies are amazing, how she weaves dancers in and around the stage is a marvel. Her students learn a wide variety of dance styles each year, in fact she's the only dance instructor in town who teaches such a breadth of styles.

It's a real pleasure to teach through the same program as Amira, and a real pleasure to share the stage with her at our monthly Haflas and Annual Spring Concert.

I'm very impressed with how hard Anne works as a dancer. She studies many different styles and teaches many different aspects of the dance. She's always coming up with new information and sharing it with other dancers. She is also a great organizer and coordinator in our wild and crazy tribal group. I have a lot of respect for Anne as a dancer and a person.

Anne is the glue that keeps Totally Northern Tribal together. She is a wealth of information on anything related to Middle Eastern dance and a talented dancer in a variety of styles. I am honored to have her as a tribal sister.
