When I was little, I used to get psychic visions on a fairly regular basis. Most of them were fairly inconsequential, and I received them about a year in advance. From the ages of 14 to 24 my abilities were mostly inactive. During that decade, I did have a moment of enlightenment at the age of 16. It only lasted about 10 seconds, and it left me right before the "secrets of the universe" could fully unfold.

Skipping ahead . . .

At the age of 24 I came to realize that I am also an empath (until then I thought that the weight I felt on my chest 24/7 was normal) and soon after that I learned how to shield myself. During that year, I experimented with pyrokinesis and I ended up burning myself. It would seem that I couldn't fully release the energy, so it just built up in my hands and caused mosquito bite sized burns that covered the insides of my hands. I have not given pyrokinesis a serious shot since then due to fear.

In recent years I have been continuously experimenting with my abilities, exploring all and any new avenues that present themselves. So far, I have found that I am also a healer, that I have a "radar" ability, that I can see people's mental health in the form of "spheres", that I have some telepathic ability, and that I can sense when stop lights are going to change.

Healing
I seem to be able to heal from any distance. In the beginning, I had to make physical contact in order to make the energy transfer. Since then my healing ability has evolved and now I only require an image of the person. The downside is that I seem to steal a portion of my target's ailment. Example: on January 2, 2008 I was with my Dad waiting in line at the garbage dump when he started to have a minor heart attack. As soon as he alerted me to what was happening, I immediately attempted to flood his body with healing energy and within seconds he started feeling better. About five minutes later, I started feeling like I was having a minor heart attack: pressure pushing up on my lungs, chest was tight, hard to breathe, slight dizziness . . . I later asked him if he experienced these symptoms and he said he did, with the addition of tingling in his legs and the beginnings of a black-out.

Radar
I was at a bar with my friend when I discovered I could do this and I honestly didn't think it would work, but to my amazement, it did. I was checking out this really cute girl that was sitting at the opposite side of the establishment, and somewhere in there I lost track of her and was wondering if she was still around. I closed my eyes, focused on an image of her face and sent out a "plane" of energy that I rotated around myself. I felt a "ping", for lack of a better word, but I couldn't see if she was actually where I felt her due to many people standing in that area. It wasn't too long before the crowd parted, and low and behold, she was sitting behind that crowd of people. Since then, I have used this ability when I loose track of my friends at bars/parties and I find them every time.

Spheres
This one literally just jumped out at me: was bored and on myspace just looking through profiles when I stumbled upon a profile of a woman that I found attractive. In that moment I could also "see" a sphere of light inside of her. At the time, I had no idea what I was seeing and it took awhile to figure it out.
Good people: sphere is transparent with a bright light in the center of the sphere.
Evil people: sphere is opaque, mostly black with colored swirls.
Disturbed people: part of the sphere is missing - sometimes just a slice is missing, other times huge chunks are missing.

Telepathy
This does not happen that often, but the few times that it has happened have been interesting. I think the first time it happened was when I was 25. I was playing World of Warcraft with my old buddy: I was in Arizona and he was in California and we were using a program that enabled us to talk to each other through the computer. His character was in a major city (he was looking at items in the Auction House) and my character was using the taxi system, traveling to the city his character was in. I heard him make a comment on how overpriced an item was, so I responded with something along the lines of, "Wow, it really costs 30 gold?" He asked what the hell I was talking about so I named the item I was referring to. He asked if I was at an Auction House, and I said that I was in-flight. He then asked how I knew about the item he was looking at, and I said that he had just told me. His response: "Dude, I didn't say anything. I was just looking at it on the AH when you said 'Wow, it really costs 30g?'"
The last time I had a telepathic experience was unnerving. I was at the sushi place that I regular, in between the the lunch and dinner rushes, so not too many people were in there. I was just minding my own business when suddenly it sounded like I was in a crowded room where everyone was talking loudly. It only lasted for a split second, but it was not that pleasant.

Stop Lights
This ability seems to be more or less dependent on me being in a stable mood. When I am in a stable mood, I can feel the change coming on very clearly. It almost feels like joy: mildly euphoric, and it is accurate to within a second or two, about half the time it is dead-on. When I am not in a stable mood, this ability is all over the place and not accurate at all.

Other Stuff
I am always trying to figure out how to do telekinesis, I think I made progress the other day: it felt like the area that is my face "grew" outward and seconds later snapped back to it's original state. The reason I am trying to do this is because I often feel like I am "confined" in my body . . . as if I am supposed to be able to reach out with my "spirit".
