My profile is undergoing a rebirth. I haven't been on here in a long time.

I live in Victoria, a gentrified paradise of natural beauty and sprawling condos locked in a life-or-death struggle. I am at university, pursuing a PhD in literature, hoping one day to be to the English Department what Indiana Jones is to the Anthropology Department. Or what he was, before that Hollywood franchise nuked the fridge.

I am here to teach my soul to sing new songs. As a result of being a "serious academic" and a few other things I do, I look much more conservative than I ought to. The truth is, my friends are hippies, rednecks, literati, mud riders, raver kidz, LARPers, government stooges, activists, dancers, lovers, mundane system analysts, cuddle sluts, hermits, 19 years old and 90 years old. The best of them are all of these things, depending on where and when you catch them.
